Wow. I'm counting this as a loser for now. My key horse, #8, had trouble out of the gate, then major trouble in the stretch where he would have finished at least second if not for a midstretch stumble that knocked the jockey, apprentice Aebly to one side of the horse before he recovered and rode the horse to a third place finish. One of the best jockey recoveries I've ever seen. Watch if you can (mid stretch).

Yes she is, lucky I am, I actually boxed that 8 with the 5 taking your advice from last week when you boxed a 23-1 horse with 5 horses at Santa Anita but could have played 4 dollars more for $420, that jockey was great for not falling off that horse, thanks.

That was wild, eh, Joe? Unbelievably athletic recovery by that kid. Cost me the exacta because both the #s2 and 8 were going past that #5. But I'm glad you had the exacta when the dust settled. (Was talking to a track buddy of mine just this morning about that 21-1 betting screwup. Dumb on my part for sure.)

Ha. Somebody went wire to wire, but it was the late bet #5. Not my #2. That horse shot to the top like a rocket and never looked back. I didn't think she had the speed to do that. I sure was wrong.

Thanks Joe. The Cs are clearly gonna win this thing. If they come to play they get it done tonight. If not they win it in Boston on Monday. Dallas just isn't deep enough and can't play defense to compete. The Cs are playing their best ball of the year right now.
