Boise State at USD

Keep in mind the Boise State football team plays tomorrow night in the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego. I live down in San Diego and heard the Boise State president on the radio down here last week. He was saying "we are basically looking to turn that basketball game monday night into a home game." Now obviously that was said a little a bit tongue in cheek. However his point was well made, there are PLENTY of Boise State backers in SD right now and USD's arena (the Jenny Craig Pavillion) only holds a few grand to begin with (my guess is Orange and Blue will account for 40% of it). If you were looking into this game, this might be something to keep in mind before playing it.

by the way, i watched parts of this game on tv (local network down here in San Diego) and i'd be willing to say the crowd was virtually 50-50. Boise fans really turned out in big numbers.
