If you really want to see probably 1.5 line moves, it's easier to pick them Sunday/Monday than late-week.
There are two sources of line-movements... Wiseguys, and syndicates. Many wiseguys have a higher hold than syndicate action (especially if you include the followers). If you watch which way the numbers move in the first 24 hours, you're following the smaller sharp action. These plays are more likely to show 1x line moves than later stuff. They're also more likely to be useful (unless you're betting so much that you have to wait until late in the week).
