This is more of a leisurely jog for me. I know lines better than anyone, and while NBA is my nomme de plume, I still LOVE college football and bet it intelligently. As my first icy cold lock I will be unloading my bankroll on Middle Tennessee St. tomorrow night. This will be fun for everyone especially when we abduct "the book" and knock up his wife.

Grading the Plays

Liquid - solid einsteinium

Solid - solid platinum

Gas - solid gold

Middle Tennessee St. -3: Liquid

Tragic game, a nod to the gods. A sacrifice if you will. Middy Tenny State just took a liiiittle too long to come out of their shell. It's like the legend of the sad bay tortoise that took too long to shed its' fragile shell. The myth presumes there is in fact a seperate species of tortoise that is indigineous only to a body of water bordered by land on three sides. The water is calm there and the torti flourish. Supposedly, the bay tortoise sheds the initial layer of shell for a more rustic, durable one that can withstand the harsh open waters. Once the shell has been shed, the torti head out to sea to die a very unpleasant death knowing nothing of ocean etiquette. However, as legend has it, there was one tortoise that never shed its' shell and thus remained in the bay FOREVER. By the way, this is where we get the saying "Come out of your shell." Middle Tennessee kind of reminded me of the tortoise that was left behind. I'll post my picks for the week when i feel like it, even though I've already made all my bets.

Here are liquid's locks...

Utah St. +29: Liquid

Virginia +13.5: Solid

Oklahoma -27: Solid

Oregon +16.5: Solid

Pittsburgh +13.5: Gas

Who really needs luck when you have talent. It was a rough way to start the season, but I'm beyond confident about these sweet li'l plays above. Remember gas man, the first to strike does not necessarily make the kill. These are all stratosphere locks that I would sell my family for. While i didn't strike with my first lock, I am going to KILL IT this week. Stay tuned boys and gals, this will be a show for the ages.

The man is in big trouble. He thought he tricked me like satan did to eve. But what the man does not realize is that I am not a woman. I am a sheer genius hell bent on pioneering anarchy within the books. The apocolypse is now, the revolution is about to begin.

Fondly,

No, no, no, first of all they are my levels so they don't have to make sense to you. Second of all, my first name is Liquid therefore Liquid must be "solid einsteinium" or the best play money can buy. I used solid as a 2nd tier play because it relates to a solid lock or a solid pick, I just like the way it sounds. Thirdly, Liquid Return defies the laws of physics and only answers to Haitian Voodoo demi-gods. Lastly, a gas pick just doesn't have the cache of a liquid or solid lock.

alrighty then. should think about changing your name to "solid return" i think. The last time I saw a haitian... it was in Bad Boys, and you remember what happened to him?

I think you're referring to Bad Boys 2. The original Bad Boys had no Haitians. The Haitians in Bad Boys 2 were actually born in Brooklyn, New York and are now living happily in the Hamptons. I already own an incredible beachfront property in the Hamptons

I can't wait for Pittsburgh to take the field. I'm lounging around my bistro in Yountville, sipping a Scavino barbera and snacking on a caprese salad. I think it might rain tomorrow. God damnit. I am supposed to take my boat out on Lake Berryessa in the morning. Some snot nosed kid pulled out a 2 foot bass the other day. I assume he's lying, but it never hurts to follow a lead. Pittsburgh will obviously cover, I'm sure of that. Sit back and soak it up, it's a great day to be an American.
