imo....offshorebooks that "move on air" have been chastised unfairly to a certain extent........
assuming book #2 knows that book #1 moves off of walters money......wouldnt it be wise for book #2 to adjust the number, even though the action was bet at book #1....
donnybest and the computer have pretty much made "computer slaves" to alot of gamblers (bookmakers included) in the sportsbetting world........waiting for the wave of changing color on the screen and a major line move announcement...
now the problem with moving on air, is when its a "false" move......ie. book #1 gets sharp action and moves the line off of it......book #2 follows suit, even though no significant action was booked at the previous number......then bam the money comes in on the dog.....book #1 re-adjust the line...book #1 has action on both sides..(though action on the dog# will be greater)......
book #2 is left out in the cold.......all heavy action on the dog at the juicy number....basketball moves like this are common...
look for books that show an "opinionated line".....basically a different number than most of the shops....imo, that is more reflective off of actual action.....
