Line Movement

Anybody want to share what looks like significant line movements taking place? I have two to note:

1. ORE is now -3.5 vs. UTH at Sportsbook.com; figuring some or most of the smaller books will begin to follow. Ducks threw 7 picks last week in losing to WashST; still a very good team.

2. Giants are now -1 Vs. Dolphins in a couple of places, including Sportsbook.com. Miami has covered only 4 of last 16 road gms against teams with better than .250 win %...0-5 most recently.

IMo............"signifant" line movement doesnt have to be as dramitic as Sr muny's example..........a half-point can be significant if its off a key number ie. 7' to 7 or vice versa.......


keep in mind, sharps will hit a certain #.............alot of times the public takes the number well past any value....gl

Thanks Dime, can't disagree. I thought the ORE move from -3 to -3.5 on abig book was significant. That book almost always stays on the 3 and goes -115, -120, -125, etc.

but none of the "other" big books...cris, oly, pinny ect.


went to 3'.........all solid 3's


suffice to say............wasnt sharp action that moved it to 3' at sprtbkk.com

Still early Dime. I could be falling for their BS, but I think SB does the biggest offshore handle. I don't thinks in terms of sharps, I think in terms of $/liquidity. Could be wrong here but i'll post a friendly bet that we wake up to -3.5 on that game.

Not that I know shit, just anecdotal info from my end.

That line movement your talking about is mostly NFL, 3 in College is not as STRONG..
