Don't forget, a big reason the Giants made it past the Braves last year in the playoffs was because they had multiple huge injuries. Any time you have your AAA utility guy starting for you at 2B or 3B (Conrad), you're in trouble.

The Giants benefited from other teams injuries last year....and this year it's them that's injured.

Very true. Not much was expected out of NYM this year, but they have done admirably considering.
