that's right, after raising taxes for the 5th time since 2011, General Electric has told them enough is enough and they're moving out

Libtards, of course, are dismissive of such. They don't know how much they're fucking up productive members of society, and they have no use for productive members of society

They know their worthless asses are safe, the poor inner cities will keep them in power no matter what they do.

They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do. They will keep them in power no matter what they do.

Idiots to the core, they just don't have it

it could also be some ploy to get some govt favors out of the deal.

GE is one of the biggest companies in the world with factories all over the place.

Its not some mom and pop shop based solely in Connecticut.

GE is huge in Schenectedy, NY as well, home of the original Headquarters. I work for GE in the world's largest gas turbine plant, formerly for them in the Wind Turbine division...

Come on, Willie. Think this through.

50 years of dimocrap rule didn't have any negative effects on the city of Detroit. Just look at how the auto industry is still booming there!

And it isn't as if Toyota, Sony and several other large corporations are making plans to get the fuck out of California anytime soon. Businesses love suffocating regulation and tax rates!

I don't know what you're complaining about, anyway. Businesses aren't even the ones who create jobs, remember? It's the government! Hillary, like, said so herself!

The loss of GE would be a huge blow to Connecticut, which bled thousands of jobs after the financial crisis and has been one of the slowest states to recover from the recession.
The state's economy grew just 0.9 percent in 2013, compared with 2.2 percent for the United States as a whole, while job growth has also lagged.
"If this budget would wind up driving employers out of state, it would be even harder to fund the services that this budget is intended to fund," said Jared Walczak at the Washington-based Tax Foundation.

======

Note that robust state economy under the Dem leadership!

Who cares, GE didn't build that anyway, someone else made that happen!

I remember reading an article about a year ago. NYC (Manhattan, specifically) has the fewest number of millionaires living within city limits (or at least declaring residency) than at any point in the last century.

Why? Well, it's hard to say if you're a dimocrap. But one shot in the dark from my end would be the continued increase in the highest tax rates. Who the fuck wants to hand over 60% (and climbing) of their income to Uncle Sam? Can't wait to see what their genius dim leaders will do when there are no more "rich" left to stick it to...and the bills that need paying will start piling up. I have a feeling a lot of people who don't make a great deal of money by NYC standards will suddenly discover how "rich" the city thinks they are...
