[h=1]New York Times Columnist: Obama Has a ‘Manhood Problem’ in the Middle East[/h] Apr. 20, 2014 12:37pmShares

New York Times columnist David Brooks said Sunday that President Barack Obama has a “manhood problem” in the Middle East.
“[L]et’s face it,” he said. “Obama, whether deservedly or not, does have a — I’ll say it crudely, but a manhood problem in the Middle East. Is he tough enough to stand up to somebody like Assad, somebody like Putin?”
“I think a lot of the rap is unfair, but certainly in the Middle East, there’s an assumption that he’s not tough,” Brooks added during a roundtable discussion on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Chuck Todd, NBC’s chief White House correspondent, added that “internally they (the Obama Admin.) fear this.”

What? Now that it looks like that Obamacare will work, its time to recycle old material.

Rinse and repeat.... rinse and repeat

BTW was Bush tough? If so how come he accomplished diddly squat in the ME?

Maybe its an unsolvable riddle. Oh both sides "want" peace, as long as neither have to give an inch and the other side completely gives in.

Good luck with that

SmallDaddy, No one in here listens to a word of your retarded blather.

Thats not completely true. I read his post to sort of reconfirm that I am on the complete opposite side of the fence from him, thus assuring that I am cooking with gas.

So what does "standing up to them" entail? Sending more of our troops over there to die? Putting on his Iron Man outfit and fighting them himself? Not sure what this bullshit conjecture is supposed to prove.

If he did send troops over there, he would be a warmonger, if not he is weak.

He would be attacked either way.

If by chance there would be peace, then they would attack him for "celebrating too much"

Must....attack.... always

Yes, you got the last sentence right - attack, attack attack...always on the offensive and never relent. That doesn't mean every situation will involve an aircraft carrier but it DOES mean you need a competent statesman with a clear strategy, which, if you haven't noticed, we currently do not have.

Back in 2009 when half the country was still drunk on Hope and Change, the community organizer had a once-in-a-generation opportunity a real leader would have seized upon. I am speaking of the uprising and unrest in Iran. The people rose up against an economically and politically unstable regime crying for help. What did Barry do? What he always does on FP - "lead from behind" hoping by some fluke something would break his way he could take credit for. So either he simply decided to stand with his Islamofascist brethren once the "political winds shifted in an ugly direction" (as he promised he would), or he believed his doomed Keynesian "stimulus" was a bigger priority for his now laughable "legacy". Well, the protests came and went, the Tehranian tyrants cracked the whip and the rest is history. The point is, had a US president flipped Iran - an arch enemy created by the last Democrat nincompoop with the same failed ideology - it would have been a historic achievement and set the tone for not only a successful presidency but a new American Century...and I do mean that in the most non-neocon way possible. Putin would still be playing nice in his sandbox afraid to challenge the World's Only Superpower and the middle east wouldn't be going nuclear.

Instead...well....

I knew we were fucked when they awarded a man with no resume, background or achievements the "Nobel Peace Prize" (count me as of the first that threw up on election night), but these "what should he do!" threads are beyond of pathetic.

It reminds me of an average chump who meets a really hot chick and racks his brain with endless conflicting strategies for hours because he simply doesn't know what to do.

"Well, if he attacks he's a warmonger...if he does nothing, you guys will accuse him of "appeasement"...doesn't matter what the guy does, he just can't fucking win!"

Really?? face)(*^%

That is loser talk, although the last part is right - HE CAN'T WIN!

At this point, it doesn't matter what he does because the world knows he's an idiot who can't close the deal. Ya know, that whole "first impressions" axiom...

Maybe...maybe if Barry the Fairy slaps Putin across the face with his wet Mom jeans everything...everything will turn out fine!

It's definitely Amateur Hour at the White House, and unless there's another age of enlightenment on the horizon I'm not seeing, the future looks even more bleak:

[h=2]Democratic ally says of Obama: "He's just not a natural leader."[/h]
Hey, why lead when you can play golf, right? I mean, it is going to be really sunny & warm today and Putin just needs some "smart diplomacy" anyhow. We can get to that next week...

He's not giving his own personal opinion about it.
