I had a nice conversation the other day with a gentleman who is a republican and I asked him what the stance was with health care. And he made his point, he was even kind enough to give me a page out of his WSJ with an article by Newt that he says I should read. Even though he knows I am a lib.

As for Republicans being the party of mean spirit, I think the video from the OP addresses that hypocritical nonsense quite well. Maybe you're not paying attention to the words of Nancy, Harry, all the attacks against health care protesters and Obama's extreme partisan attack when he addressed Congress last week, acting below the dignity of the office.
The media helps mold minds, that's a stone cold lock.
As for intellectuals, well that just cracks me up. What party dominates the high school drop out demographic? what part dominates all the lowest income demographics every election day? Do you really think those demographics are the intellectuals in our society?

That's another thing that has always bothered me. The right conveniently group democrats and liberals together all the time. Especially you Willie. I have seen you do this numerous times.
There are people that vote (D) across the board just like there are people who do the same with (R) . I believe in the philosophy of liberalism. I have talked to many a person who blindly vote (D) it is the northeast after all, not too hard to find these types. And they have no idea what being a liberal even means.

Is there an increase in violence? did they cite actual violence? resounding no an no. Why don't they let bottom line facts get in the way?

There are gays in every walk of life. The day I say there are no gay Republicans, let me know.

The video clearly showed how some on the left did everything to Bush that some on the right are doing to Obama today. Thus debunking this whole "right wing" premise of his argument before it even gets started. Furthermore, there was no resulting violence then, just as there is no resulting violence today, essentially proving his words to be worthless.
