Sorry I'm late with this ... just been real busy lately ... even taking a couple of days off to take care of a few things

Anyway, After going 8-1-1 in the last 2 weeks, I went a little backwards last week, going 2-3 in the Westgate, and including one outside pick
2-4

Let's see If I can make this a little short ...

What did we Learn from Last weeks games...............

We Learned that the Colts aren't Dead yet, and that the Vikings can be Beat
WOW, what a game that was with so many turnovers .... and even though the Vikings had their share, they never did score when they had a chance. Did the Bye hurt them ? or are they just not that good ? I think it was the Bye.

We Learned that the Bengals could find someone to beat ... the Lonely Browns

We Learned that the Oakland Raiders can keep on going to the East Coast and Win ... Guess what... they are back East again this Week !!

We Learned that the Buffalo Bills can be beat by the Fish, and that ends their 4 game streak ...
Was that game a " Look Ahead " game ... now that they face the Pats at Home this week ??
Will the Real Buffalo Bills team please stand Up.....

We also Learned that if you have two High power offenses ( Falcons & Chargers ) it might be the only way to Beat the Falcons
or is it that time of the season when the Falcons start falling apart ?? seems to be the Norm

We Learned that it really doesn't matter who the Pats play, if you have a wager on them, you are getting your Money's worth

and we Some times learn that even though it's rare, Games do end in a Tie. Even though AZ should have won

Tonight's Game ...

Jacksonville @ Tenn .... Line Opened at Teen -3.5, now almost all 3's + money. Total opened at 46, now down to 43.5

I have no play on this game .... YET, Maybe, I don't know

I would like the Hook, but they are all gone... Just a Note, the last 4 games these teams played each other, the Home team has Won
last game was a Push .... 12/6/15 ( Line was -3, and the total was 43.5 ) * Game went Over

Russell Wilson: Pectoral injury not 'crazy, crazy bad'

  • 0ap1000000236552.jpg
  • By Kevin Patra

Russell Wilson continues to play through injuries.

After suffering through ankle and knee injuries, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback is now dealing with a right pectoral injury. Wilson downplayed the latest body damage Thursday, saying it's not "crazy, crazy bad."

Wilson has been listed as "limited" in practice this week for the first time in his career, per The News Tribune.

"Not concerned. Not concerned crazy or anything like that," Wilson said of the pec injury he suffered while getting battered by the Arizona Cardinals.

It's telling no one is fretting over a third injury for the Seahawks' franchise quarterback. The football world now expects the robotic signal-caller to play regardless of how much he's beaten up behind a leaky offensive line. If this were Tom Brady, America would be freaking out.

Wilson expects to play Sunday in New Orleans, but he won't be 100 percent.

The quarterback added that doctors told him he was supposed to be out four weeks, at least, following his Week 3 knee injury.

"I'd be lying to you if I said my mobility is a hundred percent. But I feel really good right now," Wilson admitted.

Facing Drew Brees in New Orleans, where the Saints QB is averaging 421.3 passing yards per game, means Wilson will have to move the ball, even if he's not healthy.

The Cleveland Browns are starting to get healthier.
Hue Jackson announced Friday that veteran quarterback Josh McCown will return as the team's starter for the first time since suffering a broken collarbone in Week 2.

Rookie quarterback Cody Kessler filled in admirably in McCown's absence. The Browns might have something in Kessler, but he currently remains in the league's concussion protocol and was ruled out. Kessler was 0-5 as a starter but completed 66.9 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and just one interception. Kessler's first drive was as terrible as they get but he rebounded pretty nicely.

McCown has been a good quarterback, but his issue has been remaining healthy. In two years with the Browns, McCown has made nine starts, throwing 14 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Talented rookie receiver Corey Coleman was ruled out, but he shouldn't be out of the lineup much longer. He's been out since breaking a hand in a breakout Week 2 performance against the Ravens, where he hauled in two touchdowns on five catches for 104 yards.

Cornerback Joe Haden is questionable to return after sitting out the last two games with a hip injury.

The Browns may be 0-7, but there's reason for optimism in Cleveland. With Jackson running the ship and a good young core to build around, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Here are some other injuries we are checking in on Friday:

1. Bills running back LeSean McCoy is doubtful to play against the Patriots. The veteran has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Safety Aaron Williams (neck) was ruled out. Defensive end Marcell Dareus (hamstring) is questionable.

2. Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was ruled out with a knee injury. He's been largely ineffective when he's played this year. Spencer Ware has been a breakout star for Kansas City this year and figures to get the bulk of the snaps Sunday.

3. Redskins running back Matt Jones was ruled out with a knee injury. Cornerback Josh Norman and tight end Jordan Reed are questionable and remain in the concussion protocol.

4. Texans running back Lamar Miller (shoulder) will be a game-time decision, coach Bill O'Brien said. Safety Quintin Demps (calf) is a game-time decision after missing the last two games.

5. Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant (knee) is questionable to play Sunday against the Eagles. All signs have pointed to him suiting up this week.

6. Panthers cornerback Leonard Johnson (Achilles) was activated from the reserve/non-football injury list. Johnson is expected to step right in to help a fledgling Panthers secondary.

7. Falcons running back Tevin Coleman (hamstring) has been declared out for Sunday's contest against the Packers, coach Dan Quinn said.

8. Jets linebackers Bruce Carter (quadriceps) and Darron Lee (ankle) are out for their game against the Browns, coach Todd Bowles said Friday. Center Nick Mangold (ankle), cornerback Buster Skrine (knee), offensive lineman Brent Qvale (neck) and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) are doubtful, while tackle Ryan Clady (shoulder) and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle) are questionable.

9. Panthers defensive tackle Vernon Butler (ankle) and offensive tackle Michael Oher (concussion) have been ruled out for Sunday, per the team's injury report.

10. Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief (shoulder) will play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

11. Broncos running back C.J. Anderson (knee) underwent an operation on his meniscus on Thursday and will go on injured reserve, NFL Network Insider Ian
Rapoport reported
. Coach Gary Kubiak said linebacker Brandon Marshall (hamstring), DeMarcus Ware (arm) and Aqib Talib (back) will all be game-time decisions.

12. Titans running back DeMarco Murray (foot) left Thursday night's game against Jacksonville but later returned. Tennessee was being cautious, though, getting Murray an MRI on his foot (with focus on his toe).

13. Buccaneers running back Doug Martin was ruled out for Sunday. Jacquizz Rodgers will get his third straight start as he goes for 100 yards for the third straight time against a mediocre Raiders run defense. The Bucs could get a key guy back on their defense -- defensive end Robert Ayers (ankle) was a full participant for the first time.

14. Chargers tight end Hunter Henry (concussion) and wideout Travis Benjamin (knee) are questionable.

Kind of agree, even though I didn't use the game for the west gate .

a stupid stat.... The last time Fritz was benched, the next game he threw 6 TD's

but I just think they, the JETS are a mess.
i will wait until game day to make a wager... If at all.

[h=1]Jaguars fire offensive coordinator Greg Olson[/h]
Much-needed change is underway in Duval

The Jacksonville Jaguars have fired offensive coordinator Greg Olson, the team announced Saturday. Quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett has been promoted to assume the role of offensive coordinator. Olson had held the position since 2015.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that there had been a disconnect between Olson and coach Gus Bradley for some time with a lack of focus on the run being one point of contention.

"Tough day...but regression offensively was the reason," Olson told Rapoport of his firing. "Couldn't find an identity in the run game which significantly hurts blakes (sic) strengths as a QB. ... Made great strides last year but didn't follow up on the expectations. ... Would be easy to look for excuses and it hurts, but part of the responsibility of being an OC."

Bradley released the following statement on the move:

Follow
Jacksonville Jaguars @Jaguars

Statement from #Jaguars HC Gus Bradley.
4:28 PM - 29 Oct 2016 · Florida, USA, United States

Olson's exit comes on the heels of Jacksonville's 36-22 loss to the Titans on Thursday Night Football in which the Jags were held scoreless at halftime, having run just 22 plays and earned three first downs. On the night, Jacksonville earned just 26 rushing yards out of Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon. A second-half surge, during which Blake Bortles threw three touchdowns in what amounted to garbage time, was not enough to save Olson's job.

While many expected a coaching move in Jacksonville, Olson's exit comes as a surprise only because it had been his boss on the hot seat. And while Jaguars owner Shad Khan told the Florida Times-Union after the game that he would not fire Bradley, he did imply change was need: "Actions speak louder than words." Khan also sat in on meetings ahead of his team's loss on Thursday night to "get a little bit better of a look at what is actually going on with the team", per Rapoport.

Bradley wasn't worried about his job status after the game, adding, "I worry about this team and why did we perform like that in the first half, and figuring out, OK, how can we get it right?"

Changing the play-caller appears to be his first step.

Jacksonville's offense has regressed this season following their breakout campaign in Olson's first year. The Jags have the league's worst rushing attack (72.6 per game) and a -71 point differential in the first half. Bortles is struggling to find his throwing motion and hasn't become the franchise-stabilizing presence this roster deserves. Allen Robinson, a wideout on the rise, is M.I.A.

Will promoting the QB coach in charge of Bortles' progress help the offense as a whole? Bradley is betting his job on it.
If Jacksonville can't turn its offense around, like the Bills did after firing Greg Roman, then Olson won't be alone on the chopping block.

[h=1]McKinnon out, Bears' Long, Goldman doubtful for 'MNF'[/h]
The Bears are wounded walking into their Monday night matchup with the division-leading Vikings.

Chicago has ruled that guard Kyle Long (tricep), defensive tackle Eddie Goldman (ankle) and wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) are doubtful to play against Minnesota. Goldman hasn't played since Week 2.

Running back Jeremy Langford (ankle), linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), wide receiver Cameron Meredith (shoulder), cornerback Tracy Porter (knee) and guard Josh Sitton (ankle) are all listed as questionable after being limited in practice, but are expected to play. McPhee should make his second appearance of the season as he returns slowly but surely from his long rehab from knee surgery.

Their opponents won't be without injury. Minnesota's run game may be in dire straits Monday night after the Vikings ruled out running back Jerick McKinnon with an ankle injury. Matt Asiata will get the bulk of the carries in his absence. Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee) and safety Andrew Sendejo (ankle) will also miss the contest.

Cornerback and return man Marcus Sherels has not practiced all week with a wrist injury but is listed as questionable. Cordarrelle Patterson is also questionable with a concussion.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is expected to return to action against the Eagles on Sunday night, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Bryant has been out of action since injuring his knee in Week 3 against the Bears.

In three games this season, Bryant has 8 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown.

Other injuries we are watching on Sunday:

1. Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle) and wide receiver Julian Edelman are both expected to play against the Bills, according to Rapoport.

2. Cardinals wide receiver John Brown (foot) and teammate Michael Floyd (hamstring) are both active. Floyd was expected to be a longshot to play, according to Rapoport.

3. Bills running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is inactive against the Patriots, but the hope is that he will be back on Nov. 7 against the Seahawks. Teammate Mike Gillislee (foot) is active, as well as wide receiver Robert Woods who was listed as questionable.

4. Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb (hamstring) is out vs. the Falcons but teammate Ty Montgomery (illness) is expected to play, according to Rapoport.

5. Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) and cornerback Josh Norman (concussion) have cleared concussion protocol and are officially active for Sunday's game against the Bengals in London.

6. Texans running back Lamar Miller (shoulder) is adamant he will play against the Lions, but there are concerns about how much or how long he will last, according to Rapoport.

7. Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh) is expected to play against the Saints, according to Rapoport.

8. Titans running back DeMarco Murray had an MRI on his toe after Tennessee's win over Jacksonville on Thursday, according to Rapoport. A source said that Murray is "going to be fine."

9. Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett is set to undergo surgery this week for a cartilage issue and will be out 2 to 3 weeks, a source tells Rapoport.

10. The Redskins had two safeties suffer injuries in London against the Bengals. Duke Ihenacho is questionable to return with an ankle injury while Will Blackmon has a thumb injury and is questionable. Wideout DeSean Jackson took a big hit after coming down with a difficult catch in the third quarter and went to the locker room soon after. He was deemed to have not suffered a concussion after getting an evaluation, but instead has a head contusion and is questionable to return.
