To update my Solo Entry in the LVH Super Contest, last I went 3-2 ....for a Season Total of 20.5 ( 20-9-1 ) 69%
That's 4 points from the Leader and 3.5 points from a Tie for 2nd...

So what did we learn in Week # 6 ??

We learned a lot ...

We Learned that the Cincy Bengals are for REAL at 6-0

We learned that the NY Jets could be for real at 4-1, but we will know for sure this coming week when they face the Pats.

Speaking of REAL ... How about those Carolina Panthers, going into Settle and beating the Seahawks @ Home ....

again speaking of REAL, even though they didn't Cover last weeks spread, the Green Bay packers ... also 6-0

To round out the last 6-0 Team ... We Learned that all those close Covers by the Denver Broncos, finally ended and the questions still remains... How long will Peyton manning last ?

We also Learned that KC is in major trouble without Charles, which draws a question for this week ... Why would they be a favorite Vs. 4-2 Steelers Team ?? Can't be because of Vick ...
You have a Mirror Image of Big Ben as his replacement.

and we also Learned, You can Always get Beat by the back door cover... even if it's the Pats !

Onto the first game of the week....

Seattle vs. SF 49ers

Line opened at Seahawks -4.5, Total 41.5

Current Line Seahawks -6.5 and the total has moved 1/2 to 42

I Will have a Play on this game .... But I will not use it in the LVH. as I NEVER use a Thursday night game in the Contest.

Congrats and keep your position in the contest; but it'd be better if you move on to top 5 this week. I think with your smart selections in last 6 weeks and this is the week you will get it done.

Talking about this week games. First game I like the Jets. They were playing competitive football and they are even better team than last couple years, so cover the 8.5 to 10 point spread is pretty easy, not to mention they can win this game outright. Second game should be the Colts and the third game is the Panthers (like the ML, still not sold on the spread).

Good luck BAS.

I think the Jets can cover the spread but I cant see them winning outright. They have a good defense but I think in the end Brady will school them on short passes to the running backs and maybe Amendola. If anything I can see the Pats D coming up big in this game.

Yeah not sure why the HIGH Spread on the NE game... it seems that for the last two seasons, the first game of the series @ NE the spread has been around 9-10
and the NYJ have covered in both. Matter of fact, the Jets have covered the last 4 ATS vs. NE and coming close to winning all 4 Outright
Also agree that they are a Better team now.... a More Complete Team

I'm going to disagree a little with that because of the fact they were in position to win the last 4 games against the Pats. and those were with Geno Smith under Center. Plus the Jets will do the same as you posted above. You will see a lot of Short passes and Chris Ivory. This should keep the game close and the one that makes the Most mistakes will lose.

I'm a glutton for punishment. Seattle cracked my cock in half in Cincinnati. Had me bleeding for days asking how this could happen after having a 14 point lead. But that sweet Seattle pussy is so juicy I can't help but put my crooked mangled cock back in that wet wonderland and yell "I've arrived!".

Seattle -6 for half a bitcoin:

I snagged KC at +2 bc I felt like Pittsburgh going 2 for their last 2 will make their decision to rest Ben one more week a lot easier and more likely. I feel like a hobbled Vick or Landry Jones at KC in a must win spot if they have ANY chance of climbing out of the hole, it has to be now. Andy Reid will have a good game plan.

Took Seattle when the lines came out at -4.5 and I like it up to -6. Really feel like their defense is going to completely annihilate SF's simple offensive scheme. I went back and watched the film from all of SF's games this year. Offensively, they run one of the least complex schemes in the NFL. Without Harbaugh's unique built in sight adjustments and built in blitz beaters, Kaep has really taken a step back. The 2 good games have come against two of the worst secondaries in the NFL. Baltimore and NYG are both terrible against the pass this year, both ranking in the bottom 6 in defensive passer rating. Neither the Giants or Ravens could rush the passer consistently either. I fully expect Seattle to be angry on defense, and I expect them to smash the 49er offense.

Love Seattle and the Under here. SF struggled scoring vs Seattle with Harbaugh, without him could be ugly.

Take Seattle and the Under. If you don't like it at -6 put it in a teaser, or take ML

Outstanding work in the contest. Hope to see you in the big money at end.

A few thoughts on the teams you mentioned.

-Bengals are solid now and very deep but until Marv and Dalton show they can unclench their asses in postseason I do not see them as a real contender.

-Jets D is for real and I think Bowles is a vast improvement over Rex on the sidelines and as voice of team. If Rex isn't winning his act wears thin on the team. As you said and showed, they have consistently kept games with Pats closer than oddsmakers predict in spite of Rex completely forgetting to field an offense. To me, Fitz and Geno are a wash. Both will throw a handful of head scratching passes a game. No matter the outcome for them this week they will be in playoff hunt all season and if anyone in AFC East is to beat Pats, it is them. I am really looking forward to seeing how Revis is used Sun. Do they have him work on Edelman?

-Panthers are a tough as nails squad. The only thing that worries me about them hanging around as contenders is the total lack of depth at skill positions on offense. Especially the china doll Stewart. If Olsen goes down, who can catch passes?

-As bad as Manning has looked so far it will only get worse if Kubiak and him can't get offense on same page. Plus his arm won't get any stronger as temperatures drop into winter. Getting the Ostrich looking backup some reps in any games that get out of hand late wouldn't be a bad idea and Elway needs to sell Peyton on trying to emulate his final SB winning season in 99. That D will keep them in almost every game though. The whiff on drafting of Ball is looking even worse now.

-Even with Charles, KC was a bad team. When your qb can't get a passing td to any wr in more than a year it is time to ask why the hell you extended him.

-If Seattle loses this week they will implode and finger pointing will not be subtle. Wilson needs to show that he is a leader and right them vs a team tailor made for a get right win. I took Hawks for a medium play on opening number.

The only other plays I put in so far are Minn-1 and Az-7 because I felt they would only rise all week. Any thoughts? Glad I held off on SD -5.5 since number is going other way.

Wow I wrote a lot.

Whats the hold up in the Atl Tenn game ?

I think many of the lines are overly pumped up this week could be another doggie week.

The Cardinals had some crazy line movement yesterday evening around 8pm - maybe it was all the Mets fans cashing their series wagers

Whats the hold up in the Atl Tenn game ?

For TEN, 4th straight home game. Lost first 3. Could be the most effort they give all year this Sunday,
For ATL 2nd straight road game. Sandwiched between division games. WR's banged up. However, they've been off since last Thu.

Teams playing 2nd straight road game this year
SU: 6-17
ATS: 6-17

The Jets line looks to easy now -- its getting lots of public action. I am just staying away from a side (may take UNDER). I like STL. The Det/Min OVER is compelling. Maybe Buff/Jax UNDER
