Update on the LVH Super Contest ... Solo Entry went 3-2 after back to back 4-1 weeks......
Currently my Solo & Group A are tied at 11-4 ( Tied for 4th Overall ) and Group B is tied for 5th
Still Plenty of Football to be played

Things we learned in week #3 ??

The Giants might not be as dead as we first thought... The dallas Cowboys are in trouble without Romo
The Colts can win, but not Cover... and Luck might be getting his groove back ... Maybe

Benching Johnny Football might have been a mistake .... I think he will be back soon

New England is just running over other Teams, and saying FU to The NFL and Goodell

Texans finally win one ... NO is in trouble With and Without Drew Brees

Big Ben went down and Out, and still beat the Rams

The Bills can win games, with their Defense ... and their Offense

Cardinals are for Real.... as long as Palmer stays healthy

and Peyton Manning might not be done ... as long as they let him play out of the Shot Gun

First game Up .... Baltimore vs. The Steelers ... Opening Line -2.5 Pitt ... currently line -2.5/-3

Ravens have Won 6 out of the last 10 SU, but 4-5-1 ATS

Home Team has won 6 of the last 10

Michael Vick will start for the Steelers. He hasn't faced the Ravens since 2012, beating them 24-23

1. Brown has at least five catches and 50 yards receiving in 35 straight games and at least seven receptions in 14 consecutive contests - the longest streak in history.

2. Flacco has thrown for 1,194 yards with seven TDs and one interception in the last five meetings with the Steelers, including playoffs.

3. The teams traded 20-point victories last season, ending a string of five straight matchups that were decided by three points or fewer.

I just can't see Vick playing well anymore, they will try to run the ball a little too much and the Ravens win a snooze fest 24-10 or something like that.

I'm thinking Ravens have a must win game plus Vick as the QB should equal take the Ravens. But Bell is is a monster back that can control a possession game. Brown can also get open anytime he wants at this point, against any defense. These Thursday games are so sloppy I am almost thinking take the team with Bell. He is only been back 1 week and can just put up a 200 yard, 3 TD game against the Ravens D without Suggs.

TEXANS +7
JAGS +7 or higher
SF 49ers +9 or higher
Rams +7.

Those are thoughts as I sit at Nobu in Caesars drinking a martini.

Vick looked lost last week. The last 2 seasons he completed under 40% of his passes under pressure. Those same seasons he is 2-6 su and ats as a starter. Balt had 17 qb pressures lw against a good cin oline. Obviously didn't have that sucess against Oak.

Hate teasing down on the road, but 49ers may be worst team in football... and Packers might be 1A or 1B.

29ers shouldn't win for about the next 5 or 6 wks

I don't know how much Vick will really be asked to do here to be honest. Getting the ball to Bell and Brown in space on quick screens are very easy throws to make. Finding Miller over the middle for 5-10 yards shouldn't be that tough either.

I think the Ravens can stop the run but can they stop these dynamic playmakers in space?

Teams are still trying to find who they are themselves........didn't expect KC to start out 1-2, but none the less, here they are......the hardest line to cap week 4 is Bengals -4 vs Chiefs.

With all the injuries to big name qbs, it screws up capping the games with this big injuries.

So as much as I would Love to Play The Steelers here Tonight.... I Can't

Something Smells here with this Line. Currently -3 Raven at most shops

This just can't be Joe Public's Money moving most @ -3
It also can't be a Bet against Vick, because of the Steelers other weapons .....

IMHO the line is off by 2 1/2 points

Last week Brees being out was worth about 5.5 points ( line was Car-4.5, went to -10 )
Last week Romo being out was worth about 3 points ( line was Dallas -1, went to Falcons -2 )

Big Ben is out , Pitt playing at Home and the line Opened around 2.5/ 3 ( and almost all went to 3 )

With that said ... small Play on Baltimore -3

BOL ! to All

As far as Westgate is concerned, Big Ben affects the line between 6-7 points. I think the line is right. GL tonight Betall

so you're saying Big Ben alone is worth 6 -7 points .... and Home field another 3. So that means the line would be Pitt -9 or 10 ? with BB

To me the best bets this week (in my eyes as of now anyway) are: 1) Giants (preferably before the line went down); 2) Jets; 3) Giants/Bills Under (again, was better value on Monday or Tuesday, but I still lean that way now. and 4) Minnesota (now a TD dog)

After that I lean Jax+9, and Minn/Den OVER but haven't bet them yet.
