Another good week in the LVH Super Contest and Gambling as well. The only Strike all week was the Lions, which is now on My "Blacklist"
Overall the same exact results as in week 1 in the LVH, Solo 4-1, one Group 4-1 and The RXers 5-0
and it's very very early in the Contest to say anything but , it's been a fun 2 weeks....

So the usually question is .... What did we learn in week #2 ?

Well we did learn that the New Orleans Saints are as bad this season as last ... and that Drew Brees has a Arm/Shoulder problem.
We did learn that there is Life After RGIII
We also learned that the Philadelphia Eagles are even worst then we thought, by not even beating the CowGirls without their Starting QB and Star WR.
at the same time we Learned that Chip Kelly is an Idiot for getting rid of some Key Players and molding his own "Fantasy" Team.

Many Knock-out Players Learned they are shit out of luck taking NO, Balt, Miami and Indy in week #2
and we Learned that the NY Giants can't hold a Lead heading into the 4th.

Leading to the Thursday Night Game.... and before I get into that... a few Footnotes for that game

The NYG are 4-0 SU & ATS the last 4 times facing Washington in 2013/14

Washington's RB Morris only had 112 yards rushing in the 2 games last year

Odell Beckham had 12 catches for 143 yards and three TDs in the last meeting

......

Oh, and we Learned that Sexy Rexy is still All Take. Even though he does have a very good team. Just not good enough to Beat the Super Bowl Champs.

I'll be back tomorrow with a pick
In the mean time, What do you like ??

Really like Dallas this week...........I think they step it up. Also thinking Ravens may turn it up a notch, although I admit they are not very good. Good luck Betall!

Thanks DuckH...

I'm on the fence right now with Dallas, has nothing to do with Romo being out. More with the Replacement ( Weeden )
Falcons looked good so far in their first 2 games, and more since the first game they had a nice lead and still held on, then their come from behind win last week.
BUT, not liking that this line hasn't moved to where i think it should be.

Cinny has won the last 3 match-ups with the ravens 3-0 SU and ATS, I'm also on the fence with this one too.

Atlanta/Dallas game should be avoided.......Atlanta should be -3 at least.

But injuries to major players like Romo make it very difficult to cap their games IMO......

I like the falcons at that line. Dallas will not move the ball well against Atlanta's dline. Grady Jarrett and Beasley have both looked great at having that extra gear to get to the qb. Dallas put every ounce of energy into beating the Eagles last week and has played like absolute crap for 2 games, but weren't really challenged against new York and were given the game by new York, then played an offense that ran for negative yards for last week. Falcons defense will own Dallas. Period. I like the under but would take falcons on a side.

So you're saying there's no difference whether Brady is out with an injury or he's playing?

There is a big difference on whether the starting qb plays & the team relies heavy on him.

Prime example is the Cards last year when they lost Carson Palmer......

Last week Dallas was adjusted 3 points from the spring line at Philly on Open from +2 to +5 - Was that for DEZ?
This week the cowboys were adjusted 5.5 from spring line vs ATL on Open from -5.5 to PK now it is +2 I don't think the line is going anywhere.

Dallas has a very good Defense top 3 so far

Was leaning Pitt myself, because they do get Bell back this week.
Just don't fully trust them on the road just yet.

Another game on the Fence for me

hey Betall, is it smart to tail top 5 picks in the contest each week?
do they usually end up 3-2 or better?

just wondering as I havent kept a record on them previously.

First, I meant to take you off PR earlier tonight but was Mobile. So you are good to go. ( please stay away from Sunshine )

Now to your question.

I personally don't like to follow the top 5 consensus picks. and hate if My 5 picks match them. Even though last season they hit 58%
Which is why i don't mind being on 2 or 3 of them. Just not All 5

You have to remember now that the LVH Supercontest has grown, there are a ton of Squares in the Contest. Avg. guy taking a shot for $1500
I'm not saying I'm a Pro/Sharp by any means ... I feel that I am like a Semi-Pro, I think I have a decent opinion and probably will have my fair share of square plays as well.
