Let's talk about the NFL ... Week #2 .... What do you like ??

Did pretty good last week in the LVH, Between My Solo Entry and the 2 Groups, went 4-1, 5-0 and 4-1

But will I have the same Results ? I Don't know ...

Ok, so what did we learn from Week #1 ...

We Learned that it ain't over until it's over... Ala ... Chargers, Cowboys or even the Dolphins ( who didn't look good in the 1st half )
We Learned that there's something wrong on the NYG's Team. We also Learned that Johnny Football is just an Avg. Joe.
We also Learned that the Tampa Bay Bucs choose the wrong #1 Draft pick. and we Learned that Peyton manning didn't win last weeks game... the Defense did.


Which Brings me to Thursday Night's Game....

Some Footnotes before I start .

Peyton Manning is 11-1 vs. KC
Denver has won the last 6 games vs. KC, 4-2 ATS

Is manning arm dead.....175 yard and no TD ...4 new starter...new coaching staff have created uncomfortable playing behind the o-line
can it be fixed on the road.....

sd is wout TE Gates and his 12 TDs. CIN is better almost on every unit w a big edge in rush O against one of the worst run Ds in the league last year which is relatively unchanged.

Manning missed with more overthrows than underthrows, and his only pick was blatant PI (hit him a whole second before the ball arrived.) The defense is really strong and the offense is just new...it will improve week to week. I put a K on Denver and I feel good about that bet...but I like my K on over 41.5 even better!

I don't think he has a dead arm. Agree with Swalker ... a few key Newbies on O and need a little time to click

I seemed to recall fading the Seahawks Opponents the following Week was a profitable angle the last couple of season that was an emotional win for St Louis - The Hawks were winning and covering until 4 minutes left when a 40 yard bomb un hinged them.

Hawks had scored 18 unanswered points un til that point in the game

Baltimore should be a good play, I'm still waiting to see any updates on Forsett ( Currently Probable )
and that's what is holding up the line from moving.

I do worry about the East coast to West Coast though

I rarely bet them. I only take them when I like the play. It looks like Mallett will start. Hou is a better overall team than Car. They turned the ball over twice inside their own 15 against KC. They shut them out the 2nd half. You can't turn the ball over and give away points and win, well, not usually.

The line in the Steeler game opened up at -6.5 and is now down to 5.5's and 6's
which worries me a little since the 49ers will be without Reggie Bush ( Currently Doubtful )

I'll probably won't have a true opinion until late Friday night

Yes agree on the Overall better team. I'm just not sold on Mallett or even Hoyer
You have the same problem as my Team ( Jets ) has... a Good balanced Team without a Real QB

In the Jets case, they got lucky. Geno got hit ( not on the field ) and grabbed Fitzpatrick to start
