I put a small wager on Hendo. With the +200 odds he's getting, I figure it's worth a small play. It's a win/win for me. If Hendo wins, I win $200 to cover my food and drink tab during the fights. If Fedor wins, he's back in the game and defeats a legitimate fighter. I'd love to see Fedor fight a few times in the UFC.
Fedor is good, damn good. But I think besides his striking, quickness, and submission skills, he would intimidate his opponents. People fear Fedor and think he is immortal. I think his last 2 fights proved that he is human.
I think Hendo has a punchers chance and a wrestlers chance to win this by decision. Either way I hope to see a good fight.
As for the Shogun/Griffin fight... WTF is this all about??? Putting the former light heavyweight champion against the has been Griffin is crazy. I just don't understand why Joe Silva and Dana White want this match up? Griffin will never be a contender again, and if Shogun loses, it will prove that he wasn't much of a champion to begin with. When Rashad was supposed to fight Davis, they should have had Shogun fight Rampage. A Shogun/Rampage fight is stylistically a better matchup and one that has good consequences. Meaning, if Shogun defeats Rampage, he is back in the title hunt. If Rampage wins, he just defeated the former champion further validating his title contention. Now Davis is out so Rashad is fighting Tito. I would have rather seen Rashad fight Shogun. There were better options, I'm not even interested with Shogun fighting Griffin.
Well, good luck to all on their bets!!!
