we did not start calling for Gapoppolo, the press did

we did not say Brady was done, the haters did and the press did

we did lose faith in Belichick, the press did

the press created the controversy and then ran around saying we were bailing on Bill & Tom, classic modern day press

now I and most others were concerned, but we were all thinking it's much more likely they improve than not, they did not fall off a cliff

PS: I'm sure some small minority of Pats fans were jumping off the bus, there are assholes in every walk of life :)

PS: that had to be has one sided officiating as one sided officiating can be. (the worst will always be the Pitt / Sea SB, at least I hope so)

Its hard for fans of non elite franchises to relate to the fans of the elite franchises.

Its just something we are going to have to adjust to.

The have nots are always looking for that slightest chink in the armor to stab at.

Willie, you are correct. Pitt vs Seattle - Super Bowl - was in fact the worst officiated game in NFL history -

I've lost a lot of faith in belichick.. I'll never waiver on Brady though.

his roster moves leave you scratching your head sometimes, but last night the O-Line looked great and they finally worked Wright into their 2 TE offense

the moves tend to work out at the end much more often than not

on a side bar, did anyone watch Darrelle Revis talk the "Patriot Way" last night in post game interviews?

Bill washed that Jet swagger right out of his mouth :)

It's going to take a lot more than a 2-2 record and a blowout loss for New England fans to lose faith.

End of an era? Maybe not quite yet. In Bill and Brady we trust.

Which move worked out? Trading out of draft spots where dez Bryant and corderelle Patterson were taken? Getting rid of vinatieri, then going for it on 4-14 in the Super Bowl instead of kicking a fg that was less than 50 yds? Getting rid of Deion branch, which basically cost them the 2006 championship? Not being able to draft or sign one worthwhile db in 10 years even though it's been the biggest issue for a decade? Drafting aaron Dobson in rd 2, instead of Keenan Allen and Markus Wheaton who were the next two wrs taken? Taking tavon Wilson in the second round when he wasn't even invited to combine and not on most teams draft board at all?

Belichick gm moves have been awful for a decade, as the defensive genius can't fix the defense nor identify talent for it.

And yes the moss move worked, but was the no brainer of no brainers.

Considering the current NFL, where having a good coach/qb combo guarantee a playoff birth.. having this coach, with one of the greatest qb ever, in a terrible division.. Team should have won more than 3 rings, but being cheap and petty and rarely actually spending to cap cost them.

Before the 2002 season, they were cool fans when visiting Miami. After that, they became a bunch of dicks when visiting

Belichick’s record with the Pats.

Games over .500: 95
Super Bowl Wins: 3
Overall Championships: 3
Conference Championships: 5
Division Championships: 12

He has more Super Bowl wins than any other coach except Noll and he’s done it in the free agent era.

By far the best coach in the NFL.

When they lose to their division opponents at home - then its an end of an era.
