This has got to be the most lopsided game of the weekend, but if you blindly fade the pub know that you are missing:

Adrian Peterson, obviously
Matt Cassell - at least he is a known commodity
Chad Greenway - leader of this Viking defense . May play but far from 100%.
Kyle Rudolph - A TE is a rookie QB's best friend

This team is really banged up, and we all know Atlanta is going to score some points today. Really hard to get behind the Vikings for me.

Who can make their case ?

Also note the Viking's sheer stupidity/inability to get the ball into Cordarelle Patterson's hands 10+ times a game. He is practically their only explosive weapon on offense and is being underutilized big time.

I was at the Saints-Vikings game last weekend and I can tell you that Minnesota has a very decent football team. Bridgewater may see some time at QB today and he looked pretty darned good. A good passing QB with the option to use his legs.

Matt Asiato (spelling ?) although not the same as a healthy AP, is a very good running back, and their O-line is huge.

I am obviously playing the Vikes +3, just trying to add some insight.

They seem to have a very solid secondary as it was no easy sledding for the Saints.

Cassell is a know commodity but i think Bridgewater is an upgrade at the position. Put the falcons on the road and outside and i don't think they will put up many points. I still don't buy the falcons defense, and won't all season. Atlanta looked great against Tampa, but its tampa. I agree it seems obvious to take Atlanta, so i took Minny. BOL

Anyone who bets on a rookie QB in his first start is blindly gambling. Atl or no play is only option.
If Minn was completely healthy I feel this line would be the same and then it would be pound city on Minn.

Line stinks to me, so I will stay away. As a Falcon fan it seems this would be a good matchup for the dirty birds.

Falcons look a bit like a sucker bet...lol

Falcons are a huge public play 77%

Laying small chalk in the NFL is never a good thing.

Redskins -3...Thursday
Jets -2...Monday
Panther -3...Sunday

We know what happened to those 3.

No one is talking about the Jax/SD game. I like Bortles to keep it close in that one; kid looks sharp.

Honestly...I can see a public blood bath on the Falcons today.

No doubt about it.

Good luck!

That Falcons line makes zero sense and to me.

The public will be all over Atlanta today.

I just do not think I can back Minny b/c they have lost too many skilled position players.

I knew Mike Zimmer would fix this defense and he has to some extent, but they lost by 23 to NE and 11 to NO. It would only make sense for ATL to beat them today by 10-20.

Line smells too fishy to take ATL and theres no way I can back an injury depleted Minny squad. I think there are better options out there today.

Classic letdown spot for Atl and they don't travel well ,a hunch tells me Bridgewater shows why Cassel is Wally Pipp Minny wins outright IMO
