I worked for several years with the biggest and best sportsbook in the industry One of the best minds in the business. I even worked at the helm when necessary. I know abt the sportsbetting industry inside out. Who is who in the business and have met several of the biggest names in the industry. I know things that can make your ears and eyes pop. It is not my intention to talk about things I know here or to ever talk abt it..So I keep quiet and just enjoy the forum.
I knew very little abt sportsbetting[american style] before joining the company and now I am a sports addict. My fun is the one armed bandits.
Please, give us a break and don't place any additional burdens or expectations on the legitimate female members. Thank you.
venus, sharps and squares are just labels. In gambling, everyone can win or lose. It's not about how sharp you are, it's about how you handle your gambling. I don't care if you bet 1 dollar on baseball games. It'd be reassuring to see it's not all sausages posting their sports plays. And believe me, at least you're wagering. There are tons of guys who don't even bet but just want a fancy record. I understand if you'd be nervous if you would cause people to lose money, but you can't look at it that way. You have to look at it as your wager is just a reference, cap your own games and just either accept/reject my play.

I don't expect anybody to be forced to post their plays. But you have to understand with a couple hundred actively posting sports fans, there is more respect amongst each other if you chip in. Don't have to that's fine. Not to mention it's human nature for a ratio of 500 males:1 female on a forum that there may be some hostility. You also have to understand that with gambling, egos arise like no other. And unfortunately, some egos have sexist ideas. Just develop a tougher mentality and shrug away those that offend you. You're already brave for trying to post in a forum where it's male-oriented.

Sweetie, so sorry if I offended you..But just because someone post's on a web site, I find it hard to call them a hero. I know what you were getting at, but if you read any of her/his posts you would be very hard pressed to say that. I do not think Roxy really handled or spoke the way 99% of the women I know.

Less than 5% of a posting body can determine the posting future of a poster I have found. I cannot defend that postion when the other 95% appreciate or are happy with what is going on. Be tough men and women. What does not kill you will only make you stronger says The Marine Corps. I believe it.
