I guarantee you if Wil had announced some of the prizes were being slashed to pay for the poker tourney than people would have bitched about it. "You kidding me, even I could find any old Tom Dick or Harry group to sponsor the poker tourney myself, why are the players paying for it out of our end!!!"
It's very simple here, the RX has added a one event sponsor that they felt would not only save some dollars, but also perhaps create a little fun for it's readers. TOW had their annual party that was heavily centered on having ladies around and by all indications it was a huge success with the attendees. If someone is going with their wife, or perhaps is a Christian or just enjoys sucking summer sausage and doesn't like females then I am sure the girls present will stay far away as to not make you feel uncomfortable.
The RX is not asking you to send 1 dollar to this place, I don't understand the panic and fear. Sexy Wagers sees a good marketing opportunity to get their name out there, the Rx saw a way to make the party perhaps more enjoyable for it's members, anyone who goes will benefit even if they don't deposit with them. They are not an advertiser here and perhaps never will be, if you feel uncomfortable about the place THEN DON'T SEND THEM A NICKEL!! Nobody is putting a gun to your head. Sheesh, talking about looking a gift horse in the mouth, wow.

Fair enough, I can at least understand it if you are against it for morality reasons or whatnot. I just don't understand the paranoia angle, what's to be afraid of? Like all of us are going to get fleeced out of millions of dollars because it's not a grade A advertiser with 50 years in the industry sponsoring the poker tournament? Be your own guide, you don't feel good about them then leave your wallet in your pocket. For me I would be willing to accept sponsorship from almost anyone who wants to donate and make the party as enjoyable as possible.
That's just me though, of coruse we aren't all going to see it the same way.

I can't answer any of that Whale, that is something only Wil or an RX rep could address. All I know is it's a gambling site and they have come up with a book who wants to donate to the party. Maybe I am the sucker but I don't think the RX has any plans here on trying to scam anyone in any way, just doing something they probably thought most of the attendees would enjoy.
