5-6" of Snow on the ground already..

Right now I wouldn't care if there were 2 Feet on Snow... House is all stocked and ready to Rock ! @)

Yeah Snow in NY makes everything look nice

have about 8" on the ground now... turning to freezing Rain. they say there will be another round Tonight... another 3"

which means all we will hear for the next couple o days are screeching tires -
of cars trying to get out of parking spaces.... and all i have heard for the last 4 weeks is the constant sound of
snowblowers at all times of the day and night.... hno:

Defy - did you not get hit in 2009/2010 in VA? I was at school at MD and we got a good storm end of 2009 and then Feb 2010 is when we got hit with Snowmageddon in Feb with 2-3 ft of snow. Maybe it didnt hit as hard in VA. Roads were empty almost all week

nah, don't remember that... I was at Virginia Beach at that time, don't remember much snow there...

Last big snow amount I remember was 03, and that's because we were out of school for like 2 weeks which was right after christmas break, but even then I don't think it was 20" as places are reporting now......

yall enjoy the snow, im just counting down the days until Spring Break here in Clearwater...

One thing nice about living in San Diego.....you can be swimming in a heated pool in the morning...and drive one hour and hit the slopes in the afternoon. I remember when I first moved out here in 76, just about this time of year since it's my kids birthdays on the 10th and 14th, and we were swimming in my condos heated pool, and when I looked up, I saw a guy waxing down his skis as he was going skiing that afternoon!

Today it was almost 80 degrees down here.

Got about 19" here at the house. It was coming down @ 2inches an hour last night. Around 24" of snow on ground now.
