I don't post here anymore, mostly because I don't have anything to say. Josey's gone. That rocks! I do still read through here a couple of times a week though.
Posting here just ups my blood pressure too much. However, I posted an essay on another site, and thought I might do so here. Good betting out there, I took this season off with my first little one making me mostly broke.

I'm not much of an economics guy, so I don’t post much. AND I’m sorry for the long post, in advance, but I don’t know how else to say it. I'm a student of History. Which I have always felt to be the most useful of all degrees because one doesn't ever actually study a field or discipline anyway, just it's history.

The reason the Econ/Business guys don't get this whole market is a blindness the human and political aspects of our fair reality that have muddled up their graphs and betting schemes. I'm a gen x'er just now nearing 30. I suppose you can blame this whole mess on us wanting what our parents gave us, but not being to get it without credit we probably shouldn't have gotten. However, I would point to the fact that the we didn't make the game, or make the crappy rules; we just broke it. We are the generation of F***-all anyway. The hippies said they didn’t care about the system but got assimilated. The punks & rap movements got bought out and sold out. We did something special. We got the job done. Ha. It doesn't matter though. It's not the kid that breaks the jar, it's the parents that put the vase in harms way's fault.
<o></o>
Which brings me to my point. This is a human problem we are having. A truth and fiction problem. "The system" as in the powers that be, who is obviously not the taxpaying mainstream media watching credit card carrying sheeple, have unhitched the wagon unbeknowest to the herd. The whole Ponzi system is coming down. Why is the whole Ponzi system coming down? It's coming down because just like Hitler w/ Op Barbarossa... Everybody wants more, and they're willing to crawl over as many bodies as necessary to get it. (The alternative explanation is a more nefarious orchestrated plot, but I’m not going to get all Gulf of Tonkin here.)
<o></o>
Let me ask you something. Do you think the whole system would stand for every consumer to have $1,000,000, or be wealthy? I'm no economist, but I can tell you the answer is no. In a market economy there have to be haves and have nots... In our case, and to the point, the have-nots don't have anything anymore. BUT. That's not the funny part. The funny part is that when the have nots ran out of what little they had, TPTB said “Hey!” “Let us let them finance their way into ruin,” Waa-Laa! It actually looks like demand has increased, and boom goes the economy. How about it? Why not? Why not! Because we/they weren’t credit worthy! You thought they’d pay it? BUSTO! Bubbles are a’burstin, left and right, the housing bubble is just the first to blow. Not add it to the fact that the deregulation of credit worthiness coupled itself to fantastically inventive ways to fabricate even more money through crazy investment paper, and things like CDS or insurance that isn’t even backed by a required fixed payout pool.
<o></o>
So it's all FUBAR. Seriously this is a very pre French Rev kind of situation. The King/Fed Gov't is bankrupt on foreign wars and is lying to the public to keep them in the dark, the aristocracy/big corps & super wealthy are flaunting power and lifestyle but it’s all show because they’re broke too, The peasants/The peasants have nothing or on their way to having nothing and waking up. We all have heard this story before, right? It's spelled with an R, and and then an E, and then a V…. Can you guess where, “The let them eat cake,” line comes in. <COUGH>Bailout!
<o></o>
The government can toss all the fake money at the fire they want, the banksters and corps can cook the books by inflation and deflation till the cows come home, and they still won’t fix the base problem that this country is broke, as in broken at almost all levels of a healthy society.
<o></o>
The US my grandfather gave to my Dad, is no more. No that country got sold, as in sold it’s soul, or souled. It’s the USA inc. now, and you know it.
<o></o>
The truth is no one wants to know the truth. It looks a lot like institutions coming down and changing and dying. It looks a lot like books cooked so hard and fast they’re catching fire and can’t be hidden. It looks a lot like a debt so great that we can’t print our way out of it without hyperinflation. It looks a lot like angry business partners in powerful foreign countries. It looks a lot like emerging and reemerging powers playing on the world stage. It looks a lot like we lost the Cold War too. It looks like “the greatest generation,” losing their retirements.
<o></o>
This system is broke and broken. What now is what I ask? Will we stand against the NAU, the Amero, the banksters, the influence peddlers, the PC bs double speak, the criminal drug war and war on terror? Will we deal with the reality that we are not an empire? How, so? Will there be revolt or peaceful change? These are the questions I ask, as a student of History.
<o></o>
F*** you Fed Banksters & Corp Gov! F*** you USA inc & F*** you military industrial complex! I have a soul, and it’s undestroyable and unpurchaseable. I will not be your debt slave. I can’t wait to have nothing. I can’t wait to be free, and there are a whole lot of people just like me. I’m ready for campfires, spending time with my family, hunting, farming, and fishing. I don’t give a da**. Let it burn. WE THE PEOPLE will survive this and replace you.
<o></o>
To my Brothers, Sisters, Moms, Dads, Sons, Daughters, and to my Elders….
<o></o>
I invoke the Golden Rule… Please do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Please in these coming times…. Love your fellow beings, and our Earth. This will be mankind’s greatest test. It’s not that you die, or that you lose your retirement, or that you feel pain…it is how you do it.

Let truth reign.
