I used to love the NFL.....prefer college much more now. The referees and this commissioner has ruined it for me.

People say baseball is the slow sport, but football isn't holding up over time that great either.

Tons of commercials, penalties, stoppages in play. You have to really be financially or emotionally invested in the outcome of a game to sit through one these days. It's just very slow, they only play for what 5 minutes out of 3+ hours?

Tons of commercials, penalties, stoppages in play. You have to really be financially or emotionally invested in the outcome of a game to sit through one these days. It's just very slow, they only play for what 5 minutes out of 3+ hours?

I thought I was the only one that complains about this! I sit through it all, because I really do like the play, but man the commercials, replays, other bs.....it's too much.

Funny you say that. My wife went with to an Eagles game last year....hates football but enjoys occasional Phillies game......she said " is football always this boring". How many timeouts is there? Never really considered how boring being at live NFL game can be.
