wow. good fight, good win but when dana put that belt on brock i could not shake the feeling that dana manufactured exactly what he wanted.

don't wanna take anything away from brock because he showed some skill in this one. the striking was great, his knees were solid and his take down defense early was great...

OMG get over it this. There was a no lose situation for the UFC. Lesner wins and he brings the people in. Couture wins and its another amazing job from him. I look forward to Nog vs Lesner.

no he got hit hard. you had to see the good angle but it hit him right in the side of the head. plus even the ref really let it go longer then it should. dana is happy, lesnar is happy and im happy. So glad to see him win the title. now all we're gonna hear is how much nogueira will be brock, which i dont think is true.

if i get lesnar at the price mir is getting vs nog i'll be on lesnar. brock has great wrestling and ko power and with nog having a history of getting rocked(see soko and herring)lesnar will be a live dog at that price imo.

the plus side with lesnar winning is i think more people are going to step up to want to challenge him. alot of fighters and fans aswell think he is a joke fighter who is just athletic with size and power. not a real mma competitor with only having a 2-1 record and 1-1 in the ufc and already was fighting for the title?? (but with his size and strength he is fun to watch, brings in the ratings) now that he won it think more fighters are going to want to step up and take it from him. dana knows he will bring in the ratings and should set up some good fights for the future ...maybe just wishful thinkin lol but well see

I hoping for a Mir rematch for Lesner; A Lesner/Mir match now, would go down that same as Lesner /Couture did, Lesner might let it go 2 rounds to give us our money worth ... too big, too stronge, too fast, too powerful on his feet throwing thouse gaint meat hooks that "destroy what ever they hit. "(Rocky reference) Agianst the cage he is too big and will wear anyone down.... and with his wrestling backround he can be a BJJ black belt in a year... once you learn one art , you just put the pieces togather a little different to learn another. Unless he hurts himself in training no one has scrached him and he won the belt.

He wil stomp everyone they put infront of him and with 4-5 more fights under his belt I give him 50-50 chance to beat Fedor Emelianenko

A rematch against mir would be no problem. Had the ref not taken the momentum away from lesnar, i bet he would of won the first fight. Of course i dont see mir beating nog so the whole topic is pointless.
