yeah, the TITANS won that game but if you remember correctly, VY and our offense were about as relevant as those juicy cheerleaders in that game.

I know he had a terrible game. So why would us naming Garrard as starter help out Vince Young and the offense? If anything, it helps out their defense according to your argument, but with no Pacman to score for them on defense (defense scored all those points for them that game), I don't see how it has any effect on the Titans. Garrard starting has no effect on Vince's performance. Fact is, it's our defense that shuts him down. Not many teams will be running on us this year.

Either way, the stadium will be rocking week 1 vs. the Titans. All the fans here have been crying for Garrard to start, and everyone will be pumped in a week.

Cleo, that's what I have thought forever. But, after watching Byron in the preseason, he looked like the same old Byron with no improvement. Garrard has improved considerably from last year.

leftwich is the better pocket passer that makes better decisions when the heat is on. garrard panics alot and ends up throwing ints or fumbling the ball...(he is still unaware that punting the ball isnt such a bad thing...)

the titans only strength this year is their d-line. with the trouble you are having on the o-line and qb, you have just given that d-line a leg up against you.

long overdue move, much better qb and it should take about 2 weeks before the jag fans are kissing david's ass. kid is a class act and they are much better with him in the backfield, hope they can sucker someone into giving up lots of talent for their tradebait.
