Agreed.

Houston at 7-1 doesn't seem like a bad bet. At least a little value.

Lakers need more than just Lebron.

So I’m supposed to be surprised that Lebron left Cleveland again? WRONG! Hope the failing Lakers can put good pieces around him, b/c it looks like he’s getting eliminated in round 2. How EMBARRASSING! Enjoy dealing with Idiot LaVar Ball (who doesn’t appreciate me saving his kid.

"The last time James scored this many points in a season, he left and joined the Heat. Only, when he returned to the Cavs in 2014, he said at least four times he would not do this very thing -- leave the Cavs again. In a sit down interview with CNN in 2014, James said "I plan on finishing my career back home." In his Sports Illustrated essay announcing his return, he said "I always believed I'd return to Cleveland finish my career there." At his homecoming celebration at the University of Akron, he told roughly 30,000 screaming fans: "I don't plan on going nowhere. I don't have the energy to do it again."

agreed. I am fan of Chris Paul but they way overpaid a guy who can't stay healthy

They were going to be over the cap anyway though, whether they paid him 30 or 40. Especially after they pay Capela.

It'll look bad in a few years but tough to just let him go after coming perhaps within an injury of winning it all w/ him.

C's going to the finals baby

Don't see conf finals odds but I would estimate Celts will be biggest fav around +150ish followed by Philly (unless they get Leonard then it'll narrow)

Going to feel weird with LeBron not in the East anymore but pretty cool that the Celts/Lakers rivalry is gonna be back in a major way. Hopefully they put that game on Xmas day.

No opting out either for Lebron. The Lakers have 4 years to put a solid team around him.

I'm higher on Lonzo/Ingram/Randle than most. Thought all 3 of those guys looked pretty good by the end of last year. All have potential to be top 15-25 players in the league.

And they maintained the flexibility to get Leonard sometime between tomorrow and 12 months from now if he only has eyes for LA. They might have to jettison 1-2 of those 3 guys to get him but they're in pretty good shape overall.

Was legitimately surprised George stayed with OKC but he married a stripper so perhaps his judgement is not as good as his basketball skills.

West gonna be nuts next year. Hopefully everyone stays healthy.

This screws the Lakers for the next 5 year, James will be 34 at the beginning of the season so at the end of his contract he will be 38. We all know what happens to athletes at these ages. As the team is now they won't even finish the regular season in 3rd or 4th best and no way they beat the Warriors the next couple of years barring injury. Leonard is not ending up there this year, Pop will no way trade him to the Lakers. I think they are screwed now for years to come.

Dont understand the move unless he has more help coming...

One of the most prestigious organizations and they treat their players A class.. Something he really hasn’t had. I like how he went there first. Now no one can say he joins super teams like that. Every team he has ever gone to has had a losing record the year before he arrives.

And obviously his kids have a lot to do with it and where his 13 year old wants to play. He’ll be 17 by the time Lebrons contract is up. Which is all of his high school career pretty much. I think he mentioned the Heat decision was for himself.

I never saw Paul George playing with Lebron. I easily could see Kawahi though. He would blend in amazingly with Lebron. Don’t know who they would trade though

So what you are saying is the Lakers should've passed on signing LeBron James? That's what you think would've been the correct move because another team is still better?

How is being 1 of the best 5 teams in the league with a capacity to get better being "screwed"
