i think carmello should have. but then again there is so much talent in the west so it is tough.
i dont think lebron should be in based on his play. however the game is for the fans, and they want to see this kid play so i would say he deserves to be in based on that. but then again, if it was so big to the fans they should have voted him in and not left it up to the coaches.
they hype up the lebron / mello rivalry (which has always been stupid to me considering how good their friendship is. arent rivals supposed to hate each other?!) but they fail to take it a step further with the all star game.
james is only 19. he'll play in at least 10 of these things and mello probably will also. theyre only babys. i always felt good for the first time guys anyways (veterans). when theyre checking out their AS jersey with their name on it for the first time, they always have that look like a kid who got what he asked for on XMAS.

Baron Davis, Michael Redd, Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce?
Don't say Jamal Magliore...the East needs a backup C...not Magliore's fault that the Eastern Conference doesn't have any good centers.
If the Cavs complain (and they probably will), they're hypocrites. Zydrunas Ilgauskas made the All-Star team last year as a center...he didn't deserve it, but the East needed a backup center.
