To the new handicappers to the sports betting world.
For every second you spend handicapping a game you should spend 10 seconds hammering the concept of money management into your head.
Most new handicappers do not realize how dangerous of a perdicament you can get yourself into without proper management. Vegas doesn't get their money from poor handicappers, they get it from guys how cannot handle their money, such as myself. I've been handicapping for over 5 years now and still have not learned the proper principals of a bankroll such my current plight with a poor string of my own wagers this week as well as following others have resulted in putting myself into a financial hole that will take alot of work to get out of.
I will no longer be attending this forum as I cannot keep doing this to myself. I am apparently incapable (genetic flaw perhaps?) of improving my money management so I must leave this game permanently. A 2 1/2 year old daughter is too important for me to continue this behavior.
Again, to the new cappers. Understand that this can happen to you if you have not experienced it yet. You can be the most brilliant number cruncher and game analyzer in the world, it doesn't matter. Sports wagering is 10% handicapping, 90% money management. NEVER FORGET THIS or you may end up like myself.
I enjoyed the chats about the games and handicapping with you all. I hope I provided something useful to others to the forum in my time here.
Take care guys and good luck!!!
