Can you make a case for anybody right now?

Warner and Brees both have #'s, but are vastly overrated. Corky Manning is having an off year. Little bro is having better season. Can anyone seriously say Kerry Collins? So he hasn't screwed up....whoop de do. They are calling plays that he can't blow.

Maybe Haynesworth, but it would be a tough sell.

I would vote for Brady. Do you think there would be much talk about AFC SB contenders if he was healthy? Do Jets, Fins, and Steelers win in Foxboro with Brady playing? Not a chance. Yes, the D is getting old, but with Brady this is a 13 win team minimum. 5 losses and likely no playoffs for NE makes a guy who played less than 1 quarter all season MVP.

Warner and Favre blew their chances. It would be Brees if the Saints made the playoffs (but they won't). How can it be anyone other than Eli or Peyton Manning. The Giants are the best team in the league and Manning's #'s are respectable enough (even when he loses his star WR). Maybe Tony Romo should get it. The 'Boys looked like an expansion team without him.

I'm sure Warner will get it as he seems to be the popular choice.

But for actual MVP I'd have to say Eli was in the running. What other QB on the top teams has done as well as him while missing his #1 playmaker(s).

Matt Ryan by far the leader. Rookie qb on a team left for dead has them heading to the playoffs.

Eli I could buy as MVP. Warner never. Turnover machine on the road.

Ryan will get ROY.

Someone tell me why I'm high for throwing Brady into the ring for MVP.

As ridiculous as this may come across (and I am in no way endorsing Tony Romo as the best QB in the NFL), Romo might in fact be the MVP of the league this year. Without him, the Boys seemed lost offensively; with him, they're almost unstoppable with all the weapons at his disposal. I realize the MVP is a beauty contest and Romo won't have near the numbers Brees and/or Warner throw up but he might in fact be the Most Valuable Player to his team. Interesting that there is no clear cut favorite this year.

I think Brady could be Most Invaluable Player. Unfortunately I think you need to actually play to be proven valuable.

But by that token you could throw Cassel into the MVP mix. He has done pretty well for being a high school QB.

You could say the same for Flacco
