Texas Racing Commission ain't playing when it comes to Class 1 drug positives for Quarter horses as
trainer Judd Kearl found out when 5 of his horses tested positive in just a few week span.

violation 1 - $10,000 fine and 1 year suspension
violation 2 - $25,000 fine and 3 year suspension
violation 3 - $25,000 fine and 5 year suspension
violation 4 - $25,000 fine and 5 year suspension
violation 5 - $25,000 fine and 5 year suspension

for a grand total $110,000 fine and 19 year suspension that ends in the year 2036.

It was ruled as "attempting to alter the outcome of a race".

Wish the Thoroughbred industry would slam the gavel with the same thunder.
Gotta love it.
