Sorry but if the pollsters weren't smart enough to figure out that they needed state specific polls to accurately predict the outcome (yes, the electoral college existed in 2016 too) of the election, shame on them. And shame on you for talking popular vote nonsense. It means nothing. The rules apply to Democrats and Republicans.

No I don't get it and stand 100% about what I said about the historical overall accuracy of polling data with VERY RARE exceptions such as 2016.
While I don't have the knowledge and experience of the polling firms, I have studied and read quite extensively about statistics and the reliability of polling data
and am very confident that the current polling data as it stands at the moment.
If you don't think so and/or believe that if the Election was held today, that Trump would win, then so be it.
