Everyone is gaining on her now, but no one is as close as Paul. With this crowded field Paul has a shot, but once people start dropping out it's going t be rough. Everything has to perfect for him to win.

Yes....the repubs have gained on her with the barrage she's facing....but she hasn't even dipped into her war chest and if they are only closing the gap and not surpassing her by the time she starts defending herself.....gonna be a rough election for repub nominee. I believe it must be Rubio for a chance to beat her

Rand is the only one who has a chance against her in the General. He's the only one who can skewar her on Iraq, and he's the only one who can beat up, possibly beat her badly among independents. He's the only one who can beat her among young people. But his own party, as usual, is too stupid to nominate the most electable candidate. I agree that his best scenario is to have as many clown car people as possible, for as long as possible, stay in and split the usual vote. Rands voters will be the most loyal.

I think you made the most solid point about how pathetic the general election has become. The words most electable has no correlation to the best for the job or our country. It's who can appeal to the people that make up 95% of the population. Sadly that group has declined in ethics over the past 10 years.

the party in the White House only held that seat for > 8 years only once since the GD / WWII era. That would be when Poppy won in 1988, and that was because the country was very happy with the direction of the country, sustained economic growth, increasing wealth, the collapse of the Soviet Union and something they naively called the peace dividend.

everything I just mentioned, the polar opposite is true today

of course, the democrats have perfected how to get their inner-city base to the polls, and that's the only thing that really matters today. Do they turn out, and do they vote 93/5.

Willing to bet that number is higher if you substitute politicians in Hillarys place.

Congress overall usually receives the lowest pollings. The point of the video if you watch Vit is not to show Hillary's poll numbers as bad, but to show how much her favorability has fallen since the previous polls, even amongst her own base.

Not surprising at all. She's taken some hits but has yet to spend any money or spoken to defend herself....which is smart right now. Once she comes out spending and talking those numbers will climb. It just isn't necessary for her to go right now.

Those unfavorability polls have no real affect on the voting numbers. Because if she is against a bad R..... She will get the votes from people they find her unfavorable or untrustworthy.

Vit, want to ask you an honest question. Do you think Hillary is the best candidate for the liberal party? Not who can win because I think she has the best chance, but do you think she would be what America needs?

I agree, but the reality of getting elected is what counts. Bernie Sanders would be a far more ethical, honest President than Hillary Clinton, with far better policies for the average, middle class, working American. But he can't get elected. That's the reality. The best a liberal Dem can hope for is that Hillary would take up some of Bernie's causes. Same on the other side.
