The A’s pitcher is looking to become the first Oakland pitcher since 2004 to win 17 or more games. I think he’s more than capable, especially at home where he knows how to use the park to his advantage (home record: 10-2, 1.58ERA). Buehrle, on the other hand, has been horrible at the Coliseum historically and enters the game with a record of 4-12 against Oakland and wasn’t able to notch his first road victory against the Athletics until earlier this year. The problem with betting the A’s, of course, is the tepid offense. But at a not too bad price and a budding Ace on the hill, I think the Oaklands are a good bet.
