i would really like some suggestions for week #1 of nfl season on what team to take in a last man standing contest. you can only select a team one time, and it is straight up, no spread. who should i take in week #1?

post the schedule and jetplane shall give you his team >:)

i cant seem to be able to copy and past the schedule, having problems. if you can look at week 1 nfl card and give me a straight up winner to use i would appreciate it. i can only use a team one time so strategy really comes into play. thanks.

obviously you don't want to use up your powerhouse teams yet like Ind, SD, NE , Dal... I'm thinking about Philly or Pit myself. The Eagles are in such a tough division and Pitt has one of the toughest schedules, now seems like as good as time as any to use either of these teams. Have to agree with Jetplane as well, Detroit could be a solid option..

Might as well use them now, they have a brutal schedule with few gimmies, this is as close as they have this year...besides the two versus cleveland

Not to mention they are very healthy right now

I would go with Cin. Reed is hurt and their starting a rookie qb, who isn't ready for the nfl yet. Plus they have a young inexperience LT blocking for their rookie qb. He bound to make mistakes.

I'd use up the Pats - guaranteed win over the Chiefs, even on a bad day...

But if you really want to hold off on them, I think I'd roll with the Jets - they have an improved offensive line and a quarterback that keeps the deep half of the field honest...

I think the Steelers are a better bet at home against the Ravens later in the year - but that's just me. I think Houston is a much better team than Baltimore.

Good luck. I'm taking New England - ha.
