So... i know there have been tons of threads on this before - but when i do a search Las Vegas is overwhelemed by Daily Plays.

Going next week - 4 days.
Staying at Venetian and Ceasars Palace.

Planning to play poker, hit the sports books, table games, etc..

Planning to see Daniel Tosh at the Mirage and Absinthe at Ceasars.

Recommendations for other shows?
Good places to eat? or cool things to check out during the day?

Haven't been to LV in 5 years

Not sure of your age, but a short cab ride to the Pinball Museum, which is really cool if you grew up with Pinball Machines and you can play them all

Hash house is now on the list. Thanks guys.
Going to be there for 3.5 days so looking for some good spots for food. It's overwhelming looking online because there are so many restaurants

Palace Station --> Oyster Bar --> Gumbo

I've had a lot of great meals in vegas but this is the only thing I have to have each time I go.

after you hit the Palace for shdw01....make your way to Southpoint--> Big Sur Oyster Bar --> King Crab Leg Special.....

I'd recommend saving your gambling dollars for off-strip/downtown....

Some good eats in China town off the strip....wish I remembered the name of an all you can eat BBQ place a local buddy took me to while he has living there for you

For a hangover helper hit GrassRoots juice bar on 6th street near Fremont....good way to start the day before it gets dirty!

haaa, not quite twice a month, but definitely my fair share....been there once since we were both in town recently.....had a good Saturday morning thru Monday night run two weekends ago...got my crab legs in too! Was at the SouthPoint for the Dez Bryant call reversal....that was the only bad part of the trip...

other random thoughts
make sure to ask for your drink tix at the SouthPoint and I often toss them a dollar when asking and then they hook you up...if you are betting a decent amount and care about drinks make separate bets (i.e., $200 then $200) as they wont give you more than a certain amount at a time it seems regardless of the amount you bet, but they will give you a couple every time you go up to make a bet :)

rent a car...it is worth it...then you dont have to spend all your time on the strip

also watch out for 6/5 blackjack....pretty much everywhere on the strip unless you are playing higher stakes....if you want to play at a place with reasonable mins and 3/2 blackjack on the strip there is a table or two at the flamingo in the margaritaville section that have it and can be fun....I was on a little run and blew about $100 on table massages while playing there last trip....$2/min...don't know how i ever played blackjack without getting a massage
