while listening to the radio i heard a (scamdi)capper say he was monitored by the "las vegas monitor."

honestly - i have NEVER heard of that.

so, the question here is DOES the LVM actually exist or is this "guy" trying to pull a fast one?

i think i know the answer but want it confirmed here - before i "bust" him.

A very very important thought on sports monitors in general. Ask yourself this:

WHO MONITORS THE MONITORS??

Food for thought.

Could be both. Maybe this guy (or close relative) runs the LVM.

WHO PAYS THE MONITORS?

I've heard of The Sports Monitor out of Oklahoma City,OK, and Monitoring Systems out of Las Vegas. I know these two are legitimate but other than that I question every other monitor out there.

I operated a sports service in the early 80's and have been monitored by AADSS, The SPORTS MONITOR OF OKLAHOMA CITY, and by JACK STEWART OF LAS VEGAS.

Although all three of these I felt were for the most pretty honest, there was no real way to know. I know from my personal dealings that I more times than not, was given the very best of the line if I was the first one betting that particular game. Cant really recall, but think this was the case at both AADSS and THE SPORTS MONITOR. Now remember, I was a small fry in this, so who knows what the big boys got.

WInky,

You should call these scammers and post the conversation, like you used to.

Winky,
I think it's safe to say the don't exist. But he will give you a number of the LVM, which will proably ring in his office....you can take it from there.

Winky the only legitimate monitors I'm familiar with are the ones out of Oklahoma City and Jack Stewart's Sports Watch in Las Vegas.

I've never heard of "Las Vegas Monitor." Who was the 'handicapper?'
