Las Vegas Hilton sportsbook robbed this morning by 4 gunmen

I walked in there this morning and there were police officers everywhere. I guess I missed it by about a half an hour. Must have happened around 8am from what I heard.

Supposedly they all got away. None of the local news sites are reporting anything yet.

Pretty scary shit.

I have often wondered over the years why this hasn't happened at the Hilton Superbook more often. The layout is perfect for a heist! I have read the newspaper right there at that time(8:00 AM) on numerous occasions.

Lots of 5 dollar parlay Jamacian and Nigerian bettors at the hilton, they scream every basket and chain smoke, those people ruin what would be otherwise a nice book. without knowing any details about the robbery I make them a 260 favorite to be the gunmen

Las Vegas Hilton's Sports Book robbed
Metro Police have confirmed that the Hilton Race and Sports Book was robbed early this morning. The robbery was committed by two people who remain at large. It's not known yet how much money was taken. Stay with News 3 and kvbc.com for the latest.

I guess it's pretty easy to figure out which one of them shot the seeing eye dog by the slot machine on the way out.

Robbery took place at 6.15 this a.m. 2 guys wearing motorcycle helmets. They were in and out in a minute.I heard that they got 500k but I find that hard to believe.I left at 11 a.m. and the windows were still closed for sports and racing.

I'd be surprised if they had a half mil accessible at that time of the morning, but who knows.

p.s. When banks get robbed, there is a reason why they rarely disclose how much was taken.
