can't I pick them off more often when i go to Vegas? In other words, if they can't look Don Best, then why can't I get some incredible lines like i did in the old days when the only line service was called JK sportswire? I say they do use don Best, and just lie to Nevada gaming. Can someone please clear this up?

Person I posted the interviews for said they knew what was on the Don Best screen so I have to guess that means they have it.

Wild, if you go to any major casino they will vehemently deny having or using the D Best service. I would really like to know why they can't just tell the truth. The whole thing is a sham. I have gone to the sportsbook at the Mirage and asked them which sportsbooks they look at on the don best screen, and they looked at me like I was a cop and acted very nervous. Completely hilarious.

Funny, you damn well know they have some sort of line service. Then again with the cheap bastards running the joints these days maybe they are using the Rx line service

At The Stardust they have a managers work station located behind the counter. At this station there is around 5 or 6 monitors. One is ALWAYS on Don Best

In Vegas, some of used the BATPHONE also. We had scouts at various casinos that would call instantly a linemove was made.

For instance, at the Castaways, we always had an informat at the old CHURCHHILL book where heavy action accured. Of course, this was when computors were not available. However, even later we still used the informats along with DB and other services.

I think the rule has something to do with having it in the sportsbook itself. I know
for a fact that books have it running in back offices behind the book. Whether that is far enough away from the counter to be kosher I
do not know.

They can not use don best because they are not licensed in the state of Nv.

So what would happen if gaming went in and caught the casinos using don best? I am guessing nothing.

Las Vegas casinos cannot use ONLY Don Best. Thry need to use a liscensed service, which, for all intents and purposes is LVSC. There is no rule that says they can'tuse Don Best in addition to a liscensed service.
