Yeah i did...not quite sure how to get over it either...

I was fearing the 9th inning the last 3 innings , I knew it was going to come down to Foulke vs Walker Pujols and if one of those two would launch one...when he got to 0-2 I sort of felt I may get it...then of course Foulke routinely finishes it...Gonna be a rough night sleep that is for sure!

Journey I thought you said you were not betting props anymore.

Technically that bet you placed is a prop, as the bet is virtually a toss up. The books may not call it a prop, but it is in my mind.

It's sort of like a who will score last prop.

not a prop at all...side bet and total...what's worse i almost bought it back in the 8th I could have played over 4.5 runs (but everytime I buy it back i would have won, so i let it ride)

That sucks, but how could you not call this bet a toss up? I mean how are you supposed to know how many runs will be scored in the last half of the game.

Seems very difficult to handicap.

ken - it sounded like you REALLY liked this st. louis play. but you only played it for the same amount as a prop on a series? if i play parlays/props, i bet much much less than plays i love.

I agree ID.

Usually my parlay wagers are for 1/4 of the amount that I usually bet on straight selections. I don't think I have ever bet a prop or parlay for the same amount that I would bet a straight wager.

BB guy, I am one of the few who admits when i lose first of all..you don't see people admitting they took one on the chin, actually i find it theraputic maybe lol...

i liked the Under because of the flow of the game..Pedro was lights out after he settled in...i have had great success on halftime plays...this one got away and it was one of my larger bets...i think its a good time to take a few weeks off though, not come back tomorrow and try to recapture this spot... I would have been at my high watermark for the year, but instead I feel i could be looking at a losing streak...they always seem to hit me after something tough like this...

I would have to admit i have had a few good beats the past few months...not pouting really Doug...I think its a good time to take a few weeks off though...Historically when this happens to me its a bad sign ....

I got a little undisciplined the past few days ... How did you do tonight Doug?

J-man : I basically washed. Had Bosox ( as much as I hated to bet them,) and Bosox parlayed over, small gain. I bet equal amounts, it was basically action bet.
