A lot of people picked the Phils to make a good run at it this season.With that guy at the helm it is like they are running in place.

Fishhead as an avid braves fan, i hope bowa stays at the helm all season,, ive been telling everyone that he will be fired by memorial day. if they do then the phils (which are loaded) may have a chance but as a braves fan, i hope he stays.. he is somewhat of a jinx, ill tell you another guy who has troubles winning and that is Jimmy Williams and i respect him as a coach (as he was with the braves for years) but not as a manager.

It was comical to watch Bowa argue that ground rule double in yesterday's game...then he tops it off by arguing when Pratt gets ejected today for throwing a punch. I can't take Bowa seriously. He's good for a few laughs, but not for managing a winning club.

Mike Scmidt is coacj=hing the A ball team. Another former player is also managing. Think Schmidrts is a tryout to see if he enjoys managing.
