Large Baseball Parlays.....nearly impossible to hit.

May do 1 of these every week or so whenever there are a lot of games I feel strong about just to "take a shot" with a little of the coin I am up for the month, etc...

Hit only 1 all year but it seems like I am so damn close with almost every one! Usually 3-6 teamers........

For example, I had a 6 team parlay tonight to win $500. The only game I lost??????????? NY YANKEES +2.5 runs, which was a ll but a winner and I am sick. F'n Marte walks 4 guys then gives up a 2 out grand slam.

Even with the +2.5 runs on solid bets it still seems like you always get so close only to lose on some dumb off the wall shit.

T2P...Not sure, but tied up with 5 other bets adding runs on sides and totals it was like $60 to win $500 or thereabout.

NYY, AZ, HOU +2.5

SF, TOR, TB all under 8 or 8.5

They are fun sometimes, but there is a reason why they pay so much. I'd rather take a shot with a 10 teamer than play the lottery. I think the best chance to hitting a 10 teamer is to pick the side and total in 5 games. It's easier to pick 5 games to play out the way you think they will than to spread it all around 10 different games. But yeah, there is virtually no chance to hit a big one.

Good point I........its worth taking a shot every now and again, but they are so frustrating (especially with the way baseball games play out) whne you always get so close......keeps ya coming back for more!

Well 10 teams isn't a lottery payoff, it's 2 to tenth power or 1023:1, not exactly Powerball at true odds nearer to 100 million to one., more like picking the 3 digit number in a state lottery at 500:1

I've bet 8 teamers before that pay 2,000 to 1. You put a couple dogs in there, and it's amazing how high the payoffs can be. If I ever hit one of those, I doubt I'll be complaining that's it's not a million dollar score.

I've hit them when correlated, but I might have a thousand tickets in ( in a day), at places like Nojuice.

What Kills Me Is

These RL gms, when the loser scores 1 meaningless run in the 9th to take it from 2 down to 1, and STILL loses. That's happened @ keast 5 times in the last mo., to me.
