He couldn't refuse the gig. They have some fine looking gals in Georgia. I heard a couple of the alumni wives wanted him to come. LOL

Petrino has accepted the UGA HC job and will bring Lane Kiffin over as OC and associate HC who will, in turn, hire Steve Sarkisian to coach the QB's and help him out with OC duties. Petrino will appoint Lance Thompson as DC. hide the co-ed's and the moms of recruits!

i made it up and posted on therxforum so it has to be true. the bar was set pretty high by jbwronghorn and lsfoolpete so i hope i can measure up to those lofty, accurate predictions

Lane Kiffin has been very good as offensive coordinator for Alabama. With no west coast jobs available at this time, I hope he stays at Bama one more year.

Of the schools available...Miami would be a good fit for Kiffin in my opinion. The guy can recruit and we all know there's plenty of talent in south Florida. If he doesn't land an NFL job...he'll probably be back in Tuscaloosa next year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the NFL.

Kiffin is the perfect example of a guy who was born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a triple. Perhaps watching Saban in action has prepared him to be a better HC when that opportunity comes again.

Say what you will about his extracurricular activities, but its hard to argue that about the job his done at Alabama. He did a heck of job developing Blake Sims last yr, and has done enough with a bad Jake Coker (imo) to help get us in the SEC Championship game and possible CFP. I don't think there is no way he gets Ga job. Maybe Miami or a NFL JOB. I would be ok if he comes back to BAMA for another yr.
