Lakers -8 a tad to high don't you think?

Who in their right mind would lay 8....Pistons getting 8 or even 8.5 should give one the incentive to take a further

look at the dog or just pass on the game entirely...any opinions? THANKS

Honest opinion. It should be -13. I would take the Lakers -8 and run with it while you still can.

We are talking about a pistons team who averaged 77-78 points a game the entire conference finals vs. a team that averaged 90 points every game and they are playing at home.

Moon- Is that 8 for the first half or for the game? If the Lakers left the floor with two minutes to go in the first half leading 50-35, how many points would Detroit score in those last two minutes? This series is a four game whitewash.

A few numbers to muddle the deal...

Lakers "at home" are 6-0 (4-2 ATS)over Detroit last six meetings, 15-0 (10-5 ATS) over the East this season, and 9-0 (6-3 ATS) in the playoffs this season, including 3-0 over the Spurs, winning by 14, 12, and 8 points. Detroit has a lot of try, still I'll either be playing Lakers at home to cover or passing. Imo, Pistons at home will give the Lakers a run for the money.

Yep. I think the Lakers were -500 or so...that would be a 10-11 pt favorite.
