last week Boston was in this exec situation, killed Phoenix, then had Denver the following night in altitude at Denver. Celtics had small -1 number, I played Denver, Boston destroyed them by 40 points. I like Lakers here, Denver has been terrible.
I'm passing on the game but there is some support for the visitor:
Play Against - Underdogs (DENVER) - off a home no-cover where the team won straight up as a favorite against opponent off an home win scoring 110 or more points.
(30-7 over the last 5 seasons.) (81.1%, +22.3 units. Rating = 3*)
The situation's record this season is: (6-2).
Over the last 3 seasons the situation's record is: (22-5).
trap schmap, game is still played on the court and I'd rather put my money on Laker -2 than Denver +2. Not saying Lakers cover guaranteed, just that I would rather put my money on lakers. Championship teams win games like this and with a line this low I'm betting on lakers. IF it was 4.5 or higher I'd bet on Denver.
I am from Denver and watch the Nuggest all of the time...Nene is a big part of their inside game/Defense and he is out again. Martin is still getting over his back issue and is not 100%...Besides Billips, JR and Melo (if he is on) they really don't have anyone else to score.
Nuggets FOLD a lot, especially putting teams away. Think the Lakers can keep a up tempo game (Nuggets really don't like to play D, they just pretend to in some games BELIEVE ME!)
Lakers will put up enough points tonight...115+ and if Denver can't jump out to a decent lead in the first 15 minutes they won't catch up. They either have a 10-15 point lead at the half and wind up winning by 8 or lose these types of games by DD.
Good Luck, just my 2 cents. Look how they should have killed a ATL team with key players missing...almost lost that one in the last seconds after being up 10!!!!
The Lakers have never won EIGHT STRAIGHT games. They've won SEVEN STRAIGHT three times, but they just can't get number eight.
That said, the Lakers have not lost to Denver in the last 12 or so games. With Iverson, the Lakers had their number. Not so sure with Chauncey, since he's turned that team around.
Going to watch this game close here.there is a offshore book that has this-2-15.in the nba the past 3 weeks when this one out has this number on a line-15 on the number and the other lines drop the fav as lost su over 70% of the time.so if this the case Denver is the play.again going to watch this close.ck ps also la is plus money for the 1st half.cl
