The Lakers will be steam-rolling a depleted Memphis team that has only won 3 games on the road. The Lakers are eager to get back on track to their winning ways after dropping 2 games on the road. I see a 20+ pt victory tonight.

There's always the angle that it's the Lakers, the stadiums going to be buzzing, and perhaps the home team can stay within the number.

At first glance though, I do like the Lake Show.

Love to see how Pau plays Marc tonight...

Worrysome to be sure. I know you to be a good capper. I also know you have not given any reasonable argument here. Reminds me of the old story about the guy who is caught by his wife with another women and says "Who do you Believe? Me or your eyes"
Afraid I believe my eyes. Going back as far as 2004 Lakers are 1-7 ats at home against the Grizz. They beat them up last time away even though the Grizz were up by 6 at half time because the Lakers were so upset over Kobe accidently nailing Bynum. Now, the Lakers are at home playing on 1 days rest where they are 11-20 ats this year. They are playing 4th game in 6 nights and are playing their 9th game without 2 days off and they are tired.
At home off a straight up loss they did not cover against the Bulls and the Suns but did cover against Atlanta and Cleveland who they had bad feelings toward from the past. Why here and now?
Honestly I have an uneasy feelling about this because you win a lot but you have not given me any reason here. Lakers seem to care about the regular season the way I care about swimming in ice water. But you still have a good record.

I'm not touching it, though I definitely expect the Lakers to win by 20+

Then again...

The lakers are the best team in the NBA.. Kobe will put on a Lake Show at home.. I live 5 mi from the Staples Center and I know the crowds are really crazy.. I'm going to the Conga Room after party tonight in Nokia LA Live even though I'm not attending the game.

Gonna watch the game at ESPNZONE... Lakers don't take embarassment lightly on the road.. At home, they will definitely be pumped up. Only 2 plays for me tonight.. 1 on NBA and 1 on NCAAB

Wake Forest -1.5 is my other play.

To Saki Bomb:

I'm loving NJ tonight. Surprised to see them as a 4 pt dog to open up, yet the majority of people are on the Bucks, and the line went down to 3.5. Nets have a much better line-up and Harris has been on fire lately, he is really pushing the envelope as they say. He is driving to the hoop gettin lay-ups, assists, or free throws nearly every time. The Bucks just have Jefferson and Villanueva. Nets should get the outright win by 10 in my opinion.

Yes the Laker fans are a rowdy bunch. And I'm sure they'll be super rowdy tonight for the big opponent in Memphis tonight.

I was there in last years Bos @ LAL finals games and if you were caught dead wearing Boston clothing, you would get jumped on the streets. There was a video on youtube where Boston fans got jumped INSIDE Staples Center..

Also.. this applies to Dodger games lol... never let the homies see you in an opponents jersey

LAKERS -15, a gift... i am not an avid fan of taking large pointspreads, but in games like this... KOBE WILL play until the last min in the 4Q even if the Lakers are up 20

Take a look at Laker home games with a DD spread. I don't have the number in front of me but it's not good. I think there are better plays tonight but BOL to you.

the modern era laker fans are 75% made up of 5'5 metros with sideways hats that dont even know when to cheer, worst fans in sports imo.

I like the lakers tonight too....but you might want to take a look what happened last time memphis played lakers at staples !~~~!

kind of scary but mike miller IS gone from memphis so.......

that was so lakers in the previous seasons.. yeah, they used to struggle with sub .500 teams, but this year is a whole different outlook for the Lakers.

I would suggest taking Lakers either 1st quarter or 1st half to avoid any garbage time letdowns...GL on your play

The thing about the lakers is that it's scary that most of the time, they are trailing by Half-time. Memphis might get fired up in the 1st half, but the Lakers will still care of business and the Memphis legs will get tired eventually.
