Unless this drama queen has some REALLY unusual (and stupid) clause in his contract allowing
this nonsense, it's a refusal to play and THAT is a contract breach.

The team should IMMEDIATELY void his contract, show him the door, and let the courts settle the matter.
Or, at the VERY least, suspend him without pay until after he sees a shrink and "works through his problems".
