I heard today the Chicago Bears may have some interest in Warner, the Rams are still possibly going to try and trade him...(as usual Mike Martz can`t make up his mind)

Warner will never see anything close to the talent he was surrounded with in St.Louis. Can you see Warner dropping back to pass in a November game @ Soldier Field on the slow grass waiting for one of their receivers to get open?

All the stars were alligned when Warner caught lightning in a bottle! He should retire and save the embarasment of the camera showing his wife looking on in anguish....

It was a helluva ride Kurt but just get out before your blowing spit bubbles permanently...

I am under the impression his ride is over as well, but time will tell the story. He should be proud of what he accomplished and be thankful for the gift he was given.

Jman, actually the Bears O' Line should be pretty good this year I think and the receivers aren't that bad. However, the Bears are pretty committed to Grossman. I doubt Warner would come in as a starter.

If the Bears go after this guy it will be a waste of money. They are better trying to go with Rex Grossman. He will not make it in Chicago and especially with the type of offense they play.He won't fit in.

He had a few fantastic seasons but he's done. He's not healthy. There's still something wrong with his throwing hand. He throws the ball like a hand grenade and when anyone gets near him, he fumbles. The other problem is that whatever team signs him they have to put up with his mouthy, beehive hairdo wife.

Soccer Bob, that is a perfect description of the way Wanrer chucks it lol...

I think from what I heard today , the Bears would be lookng at Warner as a mentor for Grossman, but cmon , is Grossman definitely the answer?

I wonder if Warner was ever that good now or did the injuries do him in? He sure seemed to be very accurate in the Super Bowl years.

Nicky- actually the Bears are switching to the same type of offense as the Rams.

Even if they are switching to that kind of offense in order for this guy to be effective he will need to play eight games indoors and throw in a couple Florida or California games. He is done.As far as their new offense in order to be effective he needs a great surrounding cast which they don't have. You need a back which can go out and catch a ball in the flats which Thomas is not.The Bears recievers are also not really spectacular.Marty Booker is good and probably the best on the team,David Terrell turned out to be a shitbag,if they still have Dez White he has problems catching the ball, and then you have Merrit who looks promising but still untested.Still a far cry from what he had in St.Louis.I am a life long Bear fan and new offensive style or not the Bears will always be a team built around their defense. That is the way the McCaskey's want it imo.

Journey, everyone also thought that Mike Jordan and Roger Clemens were done as well! If I remember correctly, you predicted a 10-15 year for Clemens this season or so.

Give Warner a chance as a backup. As a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, I would LOVE to see him start for the Cowboys next season! Realize Journey that alot of teams in the NFL are looking for a quick fix next year while drafting QB's this year. WARNER WILL PLAY IN THE NFL NEXT SEASON AND FOR AROUND 3 MORE SEASONS IN MY OPINION

Kurt was the ultimate right place, Rams when Green got injured preseason. Right time, with teary eyed Vermiel blubbering for cameras. Not with moronic Martz in charge. Right system in place for him, Mr. Arena, a 4 to 5 wide, motion offense. And tons of quality recievers. To be honest, his early arena balls could be thrown through a tricycle tire 30 yards downfield. But, he got spoiled with wide open outs, great blocking and a scheme no one had the answers for. Great run for him, but all is gone now, except shilling for his wife. He never had good pocket awareness, nor mobility. He was never really a hard thrower. Very accurate, when healthy, confident and given a lot of time. Made a ton of money on him first year. He seems like a good natured person who fell under the spell of a bible selling mind warping ugly witch with two kids from another guy. Not exactly NFL wife material. Probably not PBA wife material. As far as what is left, nothing, his hand strength is gone, his mind has been corrupted and he just really never had that much to begin with. Sometimes the woman makes the man, other times...Best Wishes...OF

OMNIVOROUS FROG, any reason why your posts always sound so much like OLDFRIEND?

I will give you this much, he does have an ugly wife! She not only wears the pants in that family, but she wears them out! She looks a bit too much like a lesbian for me!

Hey 69, not sure who OLD FREIND is, but Warner the boss, not Kurt, wear the pants, keeps all the money, buys collector Bibles instead of stealing them from motel 6. Has Kurt's mind so warped God is the reason for everything. His reasons for Rams failing in playoffs were beyond devoted Christian. I would rather a dirtbag like Kenny Stabler then some weak minded easily led pathetic for a NFL QB chump. Where did they meet, a woman's shelter or a Bible study group? Maybe the classifieds. Wanted: NFL QB making huge money to support my well deserved lavish lifestyle. No kids because already have two. No spine because I run the show. What you get is butch looking, better years behind her, two kids in tow, mind controlling, manipulating wife. Makes me want to puke. Best thing ever was his star falling back to Earth as I could just not stand hearing her story anymore. Best Wishes...OF
