Good thing god is a Cardinals fan!! LOL Seriously I hope this team falls apart and takes a dump because all I'm gonna hear about on SC and pre-game shit is Kurt Warner, god, and his crazy god-fanatical wife!!

Fuck em!

Ohyeah, for the record I had SF, but seriously the Warners are crazy and scary

Dude is humble and thanks the one above for his existence. What's wrong with that.
I bet you pray to the man above, when your on the verge of losing all your money on any given day.

Does no one remember Kurt's wife calling into radio stations pleading for the Rams to take him back? Who does that? Crazy people thats who.

And, honestly, its fine if you're a religious type and that faith drives you-- but i'm sorry, i'm just tired of hearing about it every time you win a game and never during a loss. Its just loses it purpose and turns into a catch phrase thus cheapening your faith if you ask me. Its like people who've got a bajillion jesus stickers all over the ass end of their car. Thats not faith. Its sick obsession.

Well, they normally don't interview the losing qb right after the game. He could offer up praise then too and we just don't know it. I am much more private in my faith, but I don't look down on those that express their faith publicly.

I guess you also don't like it when you see some players on both teams after a game coming together and praying.
Yah. Gambling can also be a sick obsession.

Very well said. Can't knock a guy for his faith...he has a lot to be thankful for and that faith is probably what kept him believing when he was bagging groceries back in 1998.

God is Great!
but for some he is great when he puts millions in your pockets... so more of these high priced players should promote GOD and not VISA etc..

Really, the majority of people in a gambling forum defending religion? Why don't you just get together and ban all forms of gambling while you're at it. Corrupt officials are already hard at working doing so, so I guess it's already being taken care of. I wouldn't have put it as harshly as Dong, but Kurt Warner had the fanatical smile of someone looking for a tall glass of red Kool-Aid to quench his post-game thirst.

The problem is that these types never give credit to God or Jesus when their team loses. It's a 2-way street with the Almighty. He's there when you win or when you lose.

They always make God out to be someone who helps you to win. They always see things through their own rose-colored glasses and not how other people are being helped by God when they lose. That makes them self-centered in my book.

Warner and his wife are a great story..shows you good things do happen to good people..

Was it God..Or was it a stupid head coach who was a ferrocious linebacker but slow, inexperienced , idiot minded, under qualifed head coach who fucked his players in the end..If that asshole Singletary had sent his own ass to the showers in the last 50 seconds his team would have won..He let them down tonight!..Plain and fucken simple

I agree man, some people just can't win. You get ripped on for being a jerk, you get ripped on for being a humble and nice guy.

I chuckled a bit when I heard him say that, only because I knew it was coming and it sounded a little extra cheesy than just saying I want to thank God. But players say that all the time, what's wrong with a humble man like that throwing it out there?

That's kinda drastic man.
It's only his 2nd game as a head coach, and he's obviously not the only one in charge of what play they call. Let's give him a break, the 49ers played inspired ball on the road. That's a million times better than their last 2 months....

Huh?
Warner has never waiver in how he acts or what he says.

They just don't go immediately interview the losing quarterback on national TV after they lose.....they go find someone from the winning team.
