I am very grateful that Patrick McIrish has been spending the last few days assisting customers who got stiffed by BLUE MARLIN recoup some, if not all of their money!

Several sports books have taken on BM's debt to try and stop the bleeding...

It is GREAT that we all can work together during these difficult times and I see this as a BIG step in the right direction..

I have to give you an A+ for that idea and follow through. You still get an F for trying to make your buddy the BlueMarlin goat.

But the idea to spread the players out among the books could well be a precedence establishing move that by its nature will give players a better bailout.

Talk about service - within seconds of my previous post I got an email from Roberto @ Royal saying that he put the $69 in my account.

These guys at Royal are top notch in terms of CS.

lander I hope they make you roll that $69 over a few times.... lol. In all seriousness i'm actually quite happy with what's happened... it's the next best thing to an insurance probram... in fact I think this is
a better situation than when 1 book assumes all accounts with stipulations because in that case it's too easily argued that they could have been in cahoots to shut a book down
and pull a "White night" this at least gives
people some hope that if another "surprise" happens with a well respected forum book "gamblers" won't be left totally holding the bag.

I know the mods catch a lot of hell, but for Pat to have to deal with multiple books and players it is a hell of a lot of work. Anyone that Pat is setting up should be thankful.
