Hofstra who played Drexel already this season lost by 7 points. In that game they shot 24% from the field and put themselves in an early hole that they never got out of. These are two poor teams offensively and I like to take the dog in a game that is going to be a very low scoring game. I expect this game to be tight thoughout and I'll gladly take the 5 points here.

Rodgers scored 25 points in that game for Drexel which was 12 points over his average and I don't expect another big game like that. Not to mention Vines for Hofstra shot 5-14 that game. He got his average but missed a boatload of shots. I expect Hofstra to give them a much tougher game this go-around

Iowa St -1.5

A young, but improving Iowa St team gets Nebraska at home in Hilton.

Nebraska 1st time they have had to hit the road in a month in a big conference game for the huskers. I like the Cyclones with playing some tougher competition then the huskers with Texas this weekend and keeping it within 8 as 17 point dogs. This is one they know they can/need to win at home here.

Bowling Green +7

Not impressed with Kent St who have covered 2 out of 14 games this season and now they are giving 7 to Bowling Green. Kent St just lost to a weak Ohio team granted they were on the road but I don't think they are 7 points better then BG.



If anyone wants to hear more for my reasonings I can give them, just not in the mood for much writing tonight.

Actually I'm from Iowa but I live in Virginia right now. I've just been a big fan of the Indians my whole life. Yeah the ending to that game yesterday was sickening. Could have been a huge day.

I turned on the TV and saw Iowa St down 64-59 with 3 minutes left. I remember being all pissed off in my dream but then seeing I won Bowling Green and Hofstra games so all was good. 100% dead serious here, I know it's CBB season when I'm dreaming this shit as well!
